Thank you both for grading my comic. Damn shadows on this book, short of daylight I always have problems with using a light source. I took pictures again of the staples and I think it was the shadow of the book, where the staples rest in the recess of the spine. Here you can see that they look normal, at least to my eye. The picture still looks a little dull, but I didn’t see any rust

Hi all, Just received the grade for the Playboy #1. Feel free to guess and I'll post the answer tomorrow. I did have the book cleaned and pressed at Avery Comic in Harwich MA. Josh Avery did let me know that he wasn't able to get all the staining out. Totally understand after looking at the book.

Good morning, I paid to have a magazine graded with Walk Through and it was checked in right away with a date of 2/27/23, same day it arrived via Fed Ex. It says the current turn around time is 3 days for "WT" magazines. The book is currently in the status of "Grading/Encapsulation/Imaging" When I submitted in the past I haven't done a Walk Through and due to that fact I waited to have the book graded when they were ready to be graded, no questions asked. However, paying for the Walk Through service, can I contact customer service and "bump" this book to the top of the line, which is what I assumed when I paid the extra amount to have it labeled as Walk Through. Thank you
