  1. No idea. I just got to know about them recently because they have this app which would be a game changer to keep track of my (and many others I'm sure) collection.
  2. I would just like there to be prices. Many big keys even have no prices... My JLA1 6.0 has a value of $0.75 it says... yeah right. If the prices are from last month or two months ago or even six months .. that would be more than good enough. Still it would allow us to track our collections fairly well, and we could then check individually if we wanted to sell or buy.
  3. AC71 is one of those which actually come up for sale rather rarely
  4. The idea is one of the best to help comics collectors I have seen in many years though. I really hope they can fine tune it and make it work!
  5. Here is the link if you want to check it out https://www.hipcomic.com/my/collection/landing
  6. I think it is a great idea. It will make collecting and keeping track of one's collection and prices so much easier. If it worked! unfortunately lots (maybe half) of the prices either don't exist or are inaccurate - even on keys. That was regarding the scan feature which is the best part. Regarding the sales there there seems to be a lot of scammers? Right now there is an IH181 7.5 up for sale for $1400. In general prices there seem like we were in 2010 now...
  7. I'm looking to do some trades, but wonder what the correct forum for that would be?
  8. Just saw this. I have many of the same and it would be helpful if you could add $
  9. So you had the 71 that Cpt Kirk now owns (the comment above )? That 71 is scarce, and so rarely being traded.
  10. Looking at the price differential between an early Spidey and an early JLA...... just imagine the price potential if/when DC gets their s... together.
  11. Pretty much all DC ones!!! hehehe....... except Batman. The rest has been horrible use of great material. I almost hope Marvel buys the rights to all DC comincs just so we can get some good movies. I'm exaggerating, but its along those lines.
  12. Ok, I give you the backstories, but they do have similar looks and powers - something which is not the case for the two entirely different superheroes named the Atom. I don't think people would think the two versions of Hawkman are entirely different superheroes if they were told their powers and saw them side by side. Then they would just think they were different incarnations of basically the same superhero (like the Flashes). That is not the case, I argue, for Atom. Put them side by side and people would, correctly, assume that they are entirely different.
  13. Chinese copy artists needs very high-res images to be able to do a good job
  14. I agree, but my point is that whereas the flashes are very similar and have very similar powers.... the superhero called Atom in the SA is just very different from the superhero called Atom in the GA. So the flashes are basically just another persona inhabiting roughly same powers, uniform etc. Not so at all with Atom.
  15. It probably was a reboot yes. But I think it was different from the rest in that they are more different than usually when a GA hero is reintroduced.
  16. Green Lantern and Hawkman as far as a know have similar backstories at least and similar looks. Atom is just a completely different superhero.
  17. Avengers 4 is the first in SA. Just like Showcase is the first Flash in SA. Which bring me to a pet peeve. I don't think it's useful to call Showcase 34 the first appearance of "SA Atom", because the term first SA- is usually used when a GA hero makes a come-back in the SA. for example, when Captain America comes back in Avengers 4. For the superhero that appears in Showcase 34 (called Atom) - this is not the first in the SA, rather its the first ever. It just confuses things that there happened to be a superhero in the GA with the same name. But these should not be confused as they are two entirely and unrelated superheroes. As such, Showcase 34 features the first ever appearance in any age of this superhero.
