  1. Really excited to finally get this back, shipped today, been waiting since early October! Awesome Damian Wayne on the cover!
  2. Hello, Anyone already seeing their books returning from the recent event? Could have sworn someone made a post about their books already being shipped back. I believe its been about 4 weeks since the event and I am gnawing to get mine back..lol Thanks, Matt
  3. Oh okay, it would not be viewable either until then I assume? I guess I have a potential posting goal @CGC Mike
  4. Hello, I can find the sellers threads but is there no place for buyers or people searching for particular books to make a Want to Buy (Insert Book Info)? Thanks, Matt
  5. Hello, Please see all the images I took of this 1st print TDKR I just picked up. In a few ways it looks just as good as a 9.8 I already have but there are a couple questionable spots. Leaning towards 9.6 myself
  6. Hello, I cant find anything more recent than 2017 about what markers people are using when getting signatures done on their books, not even sure it matters. I am about to send my first collection of books to CGC in the next few weeks for the Frank Miller/Klaus Janson signing on the Dark Knight Returns. I need both on #1 and Klaus on the other 3 but each issue (2,3,4) are all in different colors already so I am not sure if it is best to send the books as is and assume there will already be markers at CGC for the event or if I need to invest in my own and if so what are the best quality markers being used by people these days? My other concern with this process is all 4 issues are already graded 9.8. How likely is it that books get grade drops? I see it all the time on the forum and on other websites talking about that risk but how often does it happen. All my books look incredible but each has some form of peeling something at either the top or bottom corner of the spine. Im terrified my 9.8 investment can drop dramatically by trying to get signatures.. Sorry if this is not the right place for these questions/concerns I tried looking around for more recent/focused feedback to these sort of questions. Thanks
  7. 25 moderns sent for pressing and pre screen back in early November 2020. Cant remember when CCG received the books from CCS but are still scheduled for grading as of 1/6/21.
  8. I sent out 34 books to CCS/CGC for prescreen 9.8 maybe 10 days ago. I paid FedEx to ship the package, had confirmation for delivery and have been waiting for the invoices (3) to be added to my account. I just received the package back, no emails to show it was coming back, nothing appears done to the books as they are all in the original box but my credit card was charged for the order. Has anyone heard of something like this happening? I am calling them tomorrow to look into this further but I wanted to make this post now to see if this has been heard of? Thanks..
  9. Ok I think that is what I was confused by. I was feeling like Quick Press and Fast Track were being used interchangeably. But a fast track on a press is just skip ahead in the line for the regular pressing service and quick press is a separate single pass through.
  10. I'm sorry what is the difference in pressing and pressing with fast track? Is the fast track option the "Quick Press"?
  11. Hello, I am starting a Batman comic collection and in time want to have a large slabbed collection. Is it best to purchase lots of what appear to be NM issues from Ebay and other sources and send larger pre screen bundles to CGC in the hopes to get 9.8s or wait and cough the money for the already slabbed copies? As an example buying the Batman Hush issues from that storyline could be cheaper to buy multiple completed lots and send 25 plus books to CGC to get 9.8s vs buying the individual 9.8s. Just wondering if other people have decided to do similar with raw issues to grade and if you ultimately find it more worth while to completing your collection? I have had NM issues arrive and some don't meet what I would scrutinize as 9.8 which ends up meaning more purchases.
