  1. Hello everyone, I new to the forum and Have a stupid question. Is it the sellers responsibility to do the research to see if someone that has won a bid is on the Hall of shame or probation List? It seems to be a lot of names to check through. Is there a short cut? Thank you in advance.
  2. There was a time in the 90’s that Valiant comics were placing first appearances in random books. It made it an interesting search for “key” books.
  3. Wow, this thread just gave me an idea to sell as much of my books to get Avengers #1 and 4.
  4. I’m glad I bought many of my SA Thor’s over the last 2 years. I would be afraid of the current prices.
  5. True, but some books are being advertised as first appearance the they are not. Hulk 180 is largely ignored as a key book as compared to 181.
  6. There's a few comic shops that have them on spinner racks. It must be older stock, so I got them. A place in Queens NY had facsimiles of Batman 251 and TOD 10 for the cover price.
  7. I'm thinking that anything that will sell the book is used. Taskmaster appears in the last age of Avengers # 195, but 196 is being considered the first appearance.
  8. I missed out on the facsimile editions of Avengers 1 and 4. I don't have the originals so, it would be nice for them to be stand in copies. I have bought around 4 or 5 of them. Some were 1 dollar, it's a bargain for just reading. I heard that someone had a facsimile of TOD # 10 slabbed.
  9. Yes this is an amazing time to sell. I sold a Marvel Premiere # 15 and She Hulk #1 in 30 minutes of posting it. They cost me 20 cents total back in the day.
  10. Hello everyone. I've been reading /collecting since around 1971. Love to discuss the geeky funny books and have nothing but respect for the creators that have built the industry .
