  1. I hate to be this guy, but I'm pretty sure two drunk web designers and a monkey could get this thing up in less than a month.
  2. I went through my LGS to send a few comics to CGC. Because I mostly deal in trading cards, I had the store's owner, a very reputable seller and grader of many decades, pick out a few comics from my pile that he felt would grade well. One of the comics came back as a 9.0, where he expected a 9.6. On the back, there is an obvious spine dig that wasn't there when we submitted. If it was there during his grading, we wouldn't have submitted it. So, I'm stuck wondering if the book was damaged at CGC. What should I do about this?
  3. "They are received and verified very quickly." You sure about that?
  4. Still hasn't been marked as received. Don't love not knowing if my cards are with CGC or lost.
  5. The problem is that Economy wasn't 56 days when a lot of us sent our cards to CGC and paid. When I sent my cards, TaT for Economy was 30 days.
  6. I don't inherently have an issue with flippers. I am a singles flipper on Ebay. I've simply seen people posting in the forums blaming hobbyists for sending in cheaper cards to get graded, as if hobbyists are in their way and need to get out of their way. Increased TATs are the flippers own faults. All I'm saying is that the hobbyists should be to blame.
  7. You can collect graded cards, fam. Nobody needs to justify their "point" for liking and collecting something. The kid in a basement is a hypothetical scenario, but it might surprise you how many people, including parents and their children, open cards and get them graded as a hobby. Also, you comment quite a lot for someone ragging on others for wasting time complaining on the internet.
  8. Idk. I think everyone has a right to react to slow TAT as they see fit, especially when the TATs were changed after many of us had already submitted. So, no, it's my money and my cards, and I can be upset about the slow TATs if I want to. So can anyone else.
  9. I am currently on day business day 46 for three cards. Seems pretty ridiculous.
  10. Items received before the turnaround times were updated should've been returned at the turnaround times stated during their submissions.
  11. Flippers are the ones causing the backlogs and the price increases. They get upset because some kid wants his favorite Pikachu art graded with subgrades, even though the card's worth $0.50. But they don't consider that the kid, ya know, actually just wants to keep the card. The ones who actually just collect their graded cards are the ones suffering the most. So, no, I don't really feel bad that the price increases are hurting flippers' bottom line. They call actual hobbyists' cards junk and act as though you're in their way and that their priorities are more important than yours.
