  1. I have been using E. Gerber Mylites for a number of years now, various sizes, and have never noticed any inconsistencies in the bag size (height). Because we are home ALL the time now (covid), I have been on a quest to re-bag/board my comics collection and have run into an issue. I purchased a batch of 1000 Mylites+ 7-1/4 X 10-1/2 a couple of months ago from my favorite local comic shop here in Charlotte (Heroes Aren't Hard To Find) and, as expected, had nothing but fantastic experiences with them. They are indeed perfection! After getting pretty close to exhausting that batch, I purchased another 1000 three weeks ago. And what I am seeing in the two packs that I have opened up so far is that the bag is actually very consistently measuring 10-5/8 inch tall before the flap starts (instead of the 10-1/2"). So what happens is when I place my 10 1/2 inch tall backing board and comic inside and flip the flap over to close, there is an overhang beyond the backing board and the bag has to fold over itself and causes this nasty, "janky" (is that a real word?) bunch-up of plastic over the top of the bag before being able to close it. So of course this makes an uneven mess of things instead of the nice, clean and tight fit over the top of the board and comic before taping closed. I went back to the bags from the first 1000 that I got earlier and they ALL measure 10-1/2" exactly. I randomly sampled throughout the 1000 used and there is practically no variation at all--certainly not the extra 1/8" that these new ones have. Has anyone else experienced this type of variance in height with Mylites? Any recommendations?
