Yeah Spider-man related SS stuff all welcome. Those didn't exist when I made this thread. Nice to see some new stuff. Grats ;-)

Any for sale? 😊
lol. Yeah probably in the next week I'll be scanning about 50-70 slabs and listing on the bay. I will probably put the 9.2 / 9.4 one of the 9.6s and one of the 9.8s up with my other slabs ;-)

Yeah, bought mine in 2019 for $470 and I'm glad I don't have to think about paying $800+.
I'd pay 470 for one in an instant ;-) Nice snag

Seeing that book for almost 3k from some sellers makes me cringe a little while searching ebay though all the same.

I'm trying to find my 2010 purchase think I found it. The good old days.

Still more than I'd like to pay for it but nice price for a 9.8 I suppose.

6-6.5 but yeah maybe upwards as others posted with some work. Very nice book none the less.

Was gonna say 9.4-9.6 judging how harsh they were on a lot of 25 of mine but all the same. Some of my 9.4 9.6's coulda easily been 9.8s given another grader on a better day. Downright disturbing at times.

Thinking of sending to Michelinie event. I have a book that was signed and graded for Todd M event. When submitting for this event, does the book have possibility of being upgraded after another pressing after being alright signed?
There's a remote possibility anytime for your book to go up or down. If your book had minor creases or something it's possible that a press could turn it up a notch. Good luck if you take that route ;-)

almost like I didn't write anything here

If you do plan on sending some in, just follow the instructions as they indicate how to prepare books and ensure each book has the paper card particular to your book from the slips you print out for the signing along with CGC's copy of the transaction on paper that you'll print. For RAW comics they want the books stacked in order of how they are on the sheet "order list" as well when you're packing them. Put the artist's initials on each side of the box in this case DM so it's noticeable by the staff that receive the packages from the fedex or USPS people upon receiving it or retrieving your package from their storage area when they get to your stuff.

$90USD will get you the signature, yellow label slab graded. S&H options are up to you whether you use CGC methods on the way in or your own. Return shipping will be some extra. Always good to submit more books to benefit from that.
If CGC cracks your books from previous slabs I believe adds $5.00 fee. Other than that you're not paying additional slabbing costs above and beyond the price they give you in the Event pricing ;-)

Just let Fedex bring it back for lesser value books. Problem solved.
I'll probably never see the light of day when I'm bringing a 250k-1 million dollar book back across the border myself and godspeed if you are ;-) Not quite sure in that instance but for the smaller stuff it's normally good.

God bless his soul but the fact that Stan Lee didn't sign over Spiderman's face is a gift on it's own. Very nice gold ink as well ;-) That book's a beauty!

The 9.2 and 9.4 had graders notes. I picked those 10 out of about 45 copies I had after buying 36 off ebay at one point with some I had. Pretty sure I had them all prescreened at 9.6-9.8 but obviously I missed something. Guess some of the copies I left behind knowing they wouldn't be a 9.8 and would land at 9.6 best bet were better than a couple I subbed but it is what it is. Good take for raw copies submitted for SS at any rate. Nice looking books even at 9.2. My favorite McFarlane book of the run. Still missing the 325 9.8 ss of the 320-325 6 part series but have the rest and I'll add scans when I put some of the stuff I sell as I'll probably scan them all during a long weekend.

Sucks for people trying to re-sell SS stuff maybe but if you're buying for your own personal collection and plan on keeping stuff, it's just another few bucks in the collection bucket. Prices seem to be climbing on these on every opp that occurs.
