  1. I think he found it somewhat comical that I sent in 10 copies of the same book ASM 324 as he full signed quite a few. Unfortunately the 9.2 and 9.4 books I got back were among those full sigs but should make for better selling when I put up some books at some point soon so there's that.

I’m noticing certain books Todd is more likely to t-bag you on. Like it seems he almost always does it on a ASM300. It’d be interesting if some dirty stats nerd went through this thread and like eBay listings and came up with a spreadsheet on which books most frequently get the t-bag while which are more apt to get a full proper Tood Mc sig.

I think if he has to sign another 30,000 books we'll be lucky to see TM TMac or maybe even TDawg if he's being generous ;-)

  3. I regret everything I sell lol. From ASM 166,245,255,262,265,268 double cover, 275,297 all CGC 9.9 back in 2008-2010 era seeing as I sold most for 1200-1900 some around 900USD and I watched one of them go for almost 8k in the last couple years. ASM 275 cgc 9.9 on comic link. Last sale I sold my ASM201-202 Stan Lee SS cgc 9.8s along with a 220 and 251 SL ss 9.8 and boatloads of other SS 9.8s. The collecting game is fun. The selling game is regret when you love the books but it is what it is. Gotta move on and keep on collecting and or rebuilding from that point on ;-)

  4. If there's a specific artist you see touching the books alot during a signing, then that might be a good time to take up the option to clean/press afterwards due to potential easily removable fingerprints not be factored into the post sign grading process but all in all as said previously it could go either way with or without. When submitting your 9.8s make sure to look really good at them through the case and only submit something you feel would 100% or close get that grade again as some just aren't quite on that level due to multiple shipping adventures and potential scs etc. Just my thoughts but it is what I tend to do and usually get good results on the cracked and graded books. There will likely be some that will drop from a 9.8 to a 9.6 if you submit alot of books, but that's the life and times of submitting 9.8s. ;-)

  5. I got charged when my books went into the system on both mcfarlane lots and for pressing when they entered the system. 2 lots that were not SS were only charged after grading and "Sent" status. If this is consistent you probably should have been charged but this is my first SS event I'm personally submitting to.

On the bright side other than a couple hiccups with creasing those were 16 Raw books so pretty good submission. I hand picked 10 copies out of my 50 ASM 324s along with a few others.
  7. I think that books submitted for CCS sit there in a certain queue for a bit rather than anything else and get signed from that point and moved back to ccs and then grading but I could be wrong. I had some books that originally got registered in CCS and it took a long while before anything moved on them. Mine went straight to CCS on getting registered but a couple months from there on in on the Mcfarlane ones.

  8. Space Taxi was pretty fun also. Raid on Bungeling Bay and Mission Impossible were also good times. I remember that mechanical pc voice saying "Stay awhile..................... Stay forever!!!" at the start of mission impossible lol.
