  1. I'll take Crack and Captain Battle jr per pm. Thanks! edit: spelling
  2. this is my first one of these, so I feel very confident. I'm guessing all it takes is one to knock that down
  3. Take the Chamber of Chills cover and the Weird Mysteries cover via PM!
  4. Hey all! Just picked this up recently. I couldn't find any info or comparables on it. It looks like there's a Spidey 1 silver edition as well behind the gold one. The packaging has a few small rips and tears, but overall the condition isn't bad and it's definitely still sealed. Can anybody help my identify what exactly this is, and also how much it might be worth? I know the repackaged Walmart and Target 3-packs can be worth something, is this similar? Any help would be appreciated! Apologies for the messy background, the packaging is pretty reflective and it was tough to get a glare free pic!
  5. Take GL 59 pending a scan if that's allowed.
  6. Thanks you very much for the info, that's exactly what I was looking for. All of the prices would indicate based on that they are 1st prints, (1--2.95, 2--2.99, 3--2.99, 4--2.95, Swimsuit--5.00) These definitely are interesting, especially the part about the sketchbook. My guess was the sketchbook was in the range of about 50, but I truly have no idea what the other four issues are worth. Does anyone have any idea as to their value?
  7. Hey ya’ll, I’m mostly a golden age guy, but I recently picked up a collection that had these tucked away in it. It has issues 1-4 (doubles of issue 4), the swimsuit special, and a Steve Mannion Sketchbook labeled number 1 dated 2007. here’s the mycomicshop link on these books, some of the only info I’ve found. https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?TID=46196370 Could someone help me out with what I’ve got here? Given how many people have added these to their want list in the last 6 months on MCS I’m guessing I’ve got something cool. Any info would help! Thanks in advance!
  8. That Cinderella love is a real beauty my goodness. What a shame about the X... And the price tag!
  9. I understand the theoretical logic ie "We want to create an additional incentive for everyone to be members because our data shows that alot of collectors still aren't" That said, the point of getting a comic certified isn't always just so I can know how it's graded, the reason grading rose to prominence was the convenience in buying and selling. Deliberately inconveniencing that process seems like a slap in the face to the community responsible for the success of third party grading. My
  10. Take per pm: Action 63 Prize 28 Flash 20 Master 37 Fight 13 All Star 10 Flash 41 black terror 28 thanks!
  11. This is the one I'm eyeing the closest too... Certainly above 20k, could it crack 30?
  12. You have to click on "buy" then "comics" and then at the bottom there's a box to check for "sold". Some of the prices were decent deals, but most looked really really strong, especially on the headliners.
  13. Wow. Superman 1 3.0 for $720k. That's incredible. Is it record breaking?
  14. Just did a great deal on a pair of covers from Bob. Communication was exemplary, shipping was speedy and bomb proof, product was accurately described! Highly recommend
  15. I say this even thinking about the spine/staple issues on the 6.0 rocket copy. I think people will be bidding on this 6.0 as if it's "better" than a 6.0 because of the presentation. I think the 8.5 clearly had a big boon in the rusty staples that scared alot of buyers. Example. I wonder how many serious collectors with deep pockets actively seeking an action 1 would have pulled the trigger at 2.5mil on the 8.5. That's quite a discount from the sale price, but I bet quite a few would have been scared off. Whereas I wonder how many serious bidders will be looking back at this 6.0 in a few months and whatever it hammers for and be thrilled to pay 70% of the hammer price.
