  1. Thanks for viewing. Is it worth much, no. It’s a learning comic. I have this at 9.4-9.6. I see a couple of spine ticks in the pic. Might need a pressing for 9.6. Testing my grading. Thanks for viewing.
  2. What SS275 said. Learned my lessson on posting 2 comics in one post last week 😳
  3. Wow. I am close even with the staples. Slab this (lol right !!!) Seriously tanks all
  4. Ok I am not the CGC. But I have it at 6.5 to 7. A press could put at 8+
  5. Looks like 9.5 + A few more pics of the top right would help
  6. Seriously this is. It worth much. Purchased as a reader for 0.25 when I was a kid before I knew about collecting. My question is really how much do the staples effect the value. comic might be. 2.0 but with the staples .... 0.5? Higher actual grade would affect it more I appreciate the feedback. Helps me learn.
  7. All I apologize for posting 2 books. My mistake. I was simply trying to get a feel about HOW to grade them. With them bagged I knew I couldn’t get a number. I probably should have posted them in another thread, but this one appeared to be closest to what I needed. Thank acegraphix. You intend me in the right direction which is what I need. Everyone else, thanks for your replies and letting me know of my error. Wont happen again but thanks for reviewing
  8. Ok, grading these are... um difficult. I have Adventure of Superman 500 and Superman 75 in poly bags. I am not removing them so how are they graded? Bagged and boarded since purchase. Let me know your comments and feedback. I have no idea how to grade these except 9.8 but am I even close? Thanks for looking
  9. Galen130, great eye. Not a tear but it is a small crease (pulled it back out to look) Should press out if I go that way.
  10. I said I overgrade didn’t I? Thanks for reviewing.
  11. Help me with this. Bought this at the grocery store a loooong time ago. I have it at 6.5 but I overgrade. Thanks
  12. Thanks for the feedback. Spine ticks, I have it at 5. What do you think
  13. Geese all it’s a 2.0 minus. I got it for .50 40 plus years ago. If it’s worth $1 then I made money. I tried to read through the comments but too many he sucks. I thought this was a cool place to share what you had from ages ago, not mine is better and you suck cause I am younger and bought it from eBay at x dollars. Sorry but many of us actually got this cause it was cool Looking when it came out. I vent. This isn’t my life, just a really cool hobby when I was younger. hope you all have x-men 1 in mint.
  14. I have 2 copies very similar. Flat with very minor creases. What do you think? Slab em? thanks
  15. Ok. I over value... see my comics ... but that’s a good copy. 7.0
  16. Ok. One of the questions I had was what are they. So let’s see a list of some of them kitty pride and Wolverine 1-4 iron man 150 marvel presents 3 gi joe 1-6 punisher 1-5 secret wars all alpha flight 1-5 Thor 338 rom 1-20 thats just part of 1 stack with hulk 181 in there somewhere as well as as X-men 100 plus may not be selling but trying to see what I have Paid cover price so making money regardless love the No from TF though
  17. All, just a question. I have a couple of hundred comics from the 80s in 8.5 -9plus condition. They are valued at $50 each. Why would I get then graded? They are worth $50 each and grading costs the value of the comic. CGC IS great but in my case is it cost effective?
