  1. Hey there Mike. Is this still the procedure on regrades? Should I create a separate submission slip, keep the card in the slab and ship it in with the overall order? Considering my card is the old style label with subgrades, if it does not change grade would it maintain the label? Is the guarantee of maintaining the minimum base grade of what it currently has still there as well? I also have a few cards that were graded by a company called Puregradedx, I understand I can't do a crossover for them but can I submit them in the slabs and have you guys crack them to grade them? Thanks!
  2. Received package 2/26/22. Only disappointment was they refused to grade the metal Pikachu card because it was in the first stages of chipping on an edge.
  3. Econ - Received 2/2/22, Shipped 2/22/22 Mildly satisfying to see it all match up, and on a Twoday as well :P 6 cards with subgrades in the sub
  4. @Mittens Now you're making me worried about mine that are in grading right now.....
  5. Your problem is believing PSA gave you those 10's because they legitimately deserved it. PSA has been a running joke in the grading community on their laxness for a very long time. If you like that, then might I recommend removing yourself from these forums and going to fanboi over on their forum instead? Also, this "CGC definitely grades based their own opinion", which, first let's ignore the horrible grammar and headache just trying to translate it, but second, EVERY grading company grades based on their own opinion. There is not a single company out there that doesn't. That's literally what you're paying for, a second opinion and an encapsulation. That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.
  6. I actually prefer that they are harder to get. For years I've seen too many fake 10's in PSA cases that don't nearly deserve the grade they were given. Now if you actually get a 10, it was because it was pristine, it was perfect, it was deserving. CGC has had a rep as a tough grader since late 2020, I don't know why this is still a surprise to people.....
  7. As someone who QA's and supports the product that my developers push out, I disagree. All too often I see developers half-azz things to the point where their customer service reps have to take it in the neck for something their developers didn't have time to troubleshoot and forced out, or didn't take time to foresee and pushed out a half assed product. Given that their customer service reps are probably already getting it in the neck and have been the past 1.5 years, I'm sure they would appreciate a smoother release rather than a rocky one that you patch up. Rushed work equals shoddy work.
  8. 5/17/21 bulk still in G/E/I been that way for about 1.5 months now. Already called and paid ahead of time, had to contact them again due to incorrect sub grade rates charged, still waiting for it to change to QC
  9. I just had that today. Thankfully I had a submission form printed for myself which told me what the totals should be for each area and they were definitely charging me at the new subgrade rates and had to initiate a refund to me. Double check your charges guys!
  10. I believe if you do a regrade on something they themselves already graded, it cannot go lower than it's already established grade, only higher or the same. Crossovers are a different story though. EDIT: Yes this is in fact, factual -
  11. Bulk order. Delivered 3/22/21 Received today 5/17/21 So for bulk orders, you're looking at about a 2 month receiving wait.
  12. Thank you for saying this. All too often these moose knuckles are screaming at the top of their lungs like the spoiled children that they are for something they have no comprehension of what's required to make. Coding a website is one thing, data compilation, accessibility, hosting, etc... And if I was them, I would make sure they had a phone app right off the bat as well, to appease the inevitable cry babies that will whine about that. It's almost like people couldn't get cards graded prior to things like pop reports.....oh wait
  13. My post wasn't even directed at you, but since you seemed to take it nice and personal, sure why not. I disagree and I'm speaking from a standpoint of development and business. They had absolutely no idea how or even if they would be successful in the market at all. They are jumping in to the water at a deficit against established companies. You don't slap additional cost and development time in to an investment unless you know it's going to pay off. This isn't the stock market where you sit there and take chances. They tested the waters, and they are not even a year in to this endeavor and already people are jumping down their throats acting like investors who owns a stock portion of the company. Entitled little dweebs and pukes with superiority complexes coming out in droves demanding things when they have no idea of any of the facts behind the scenes whatsoever. I don't have those facts either, which is why I'm calling those exact little dweebs and pukes out on how they could possibly know where, what or why CGC is doing what they are doing. Please, enlighten us all knowing ones, tell us how to code a website, tell us how to run a business, tell us how to grade cards, tell us how to spend our money, tell us how to retroactively put thousands of data submissions in to searchable spreadsheets, by all means, you guys seem to have the answers, spit it out already. I've never graded cards before I made my submission to CGC, I owe them nothing except the money for the services that they provide. Would I like to see them become successful? Yes absolutely, because competition in the market helps drive the others to push for success as well. Cheaper rates, better service, it all derives from competition. It behooves me to see CGC succeed and I would love it if even more companies started popping up on the market as well. Do I care if they answer people on the internet chat boards about their product? Not one damn bit, because if I had actual questions, I would reach out to CGC's customer service personally, via email or phone....you know, like an adult would do.....
