Awesome books Mike and this is a real Beauty. Great pick-ups Shep and do you think E-bay has had more DC War books listed lately with the increase in prices? I love that AAMOW 96 and need a nice copy. I picked up a few low to mid grade books and the one book in the nicest shape I wanted and was winning until my E-bay nemesis, Goldust40 swoops in and wins as usual. Hi Andy Love this cover. A couple more I've been looking for: One more to combine shipping: A real solid book from Canadian Andy's last sales thread. Nothing HG, but I love them all.

I agree. Those are three of the best. I would love to have a high grade War #11, or heck even a pretty mid-grade. Here is GIC Combat #118, not a bad flamethrower cover. This copy just got slabbed last week. 9.4 oww Nice books Mike and where do you always seem to find these Beauties? I've been looking for a GIC 118 for quite some time and can't seem to find one in VF/NM or better. Here are some more Atlas Russ Heath covers. I would kill for a nice upgrade or maybe just pay some nice man a handful of bills for FN+ copy. Beautiful artwork on the the faces of the two battling it out with a knife and the jet age of Super Sabres and Migs circling above. (thumbs u Just a classic cover. Wow Dan that is a Beauty and I've only seen that cover once and your copy is better than the one on the Atlas site. That book is incredible and what a cover!!

Thanks Dennis, I can't sell on the boards until I fix one or both my computers and I'm having trouble getting photos uploaded onto photo-bucket and anytime I have to scroll on one computer it jams. I need a new tower and it's an older computer. The other one which is fairly new has no e-mail and the PM system doesn't seem to work. I have another plan that I will find out on Tuedays if more of a sell off is required. Thanks for your kind words.

Thanks Mike, My grading is still a little shakey and I'm not totally confident grading books around here and still learning every day. That wouldn't be fair or much fun for a buyer to not have pics and I woudn't expect anyone to buy any of my books because they feel sorry for me. I appreciate the thoughts.

What else can go wrong, I just tried to sell of some HG BA horror books to try to save some of my DC war books and both my computers are screwed and I can't get images from Photo-bucket into CGC's sytem to start a sales thread. The DC war sales thread is cancelled. I deleted any info about the Caps and thanks for a few of your PMs showing interest. I don't want to break any rules and I might sell them properly after I fix one computer or both after payday. Sorry if I got anyone's hopes up.

I'm very sorry to take up a post in my favorite thread and I earlier posted in the annoucement thread about some more bad news that has hit me and I was sort of planning on selling my whole collection of DC war books in a thread tomorrow at 14:30 PST. I just tried to sell some other genre books and both of my computers are acting up and I can't get pictures from my system into photobucket. I need a new tower on one and a technician on the other one of which I can't afford neither right now. I am and don't belong in this game with my luck and this juggling act with my Husband still not working due to his injuries and my recent other problems is taking it's toll. I was just going to contact one of the few dealer/members and ask them to make an offer and I thought maybe you guys might have a better idea. I would also like any of the books you guys might need or like in my collection to go to you guys and the prices will be right.

To any of you war collectors out there it looks like I am going to have sell off many of my DC war books tomorrow starting around 14:30 PST. All books are raw and 90 % were bought from long standing board members and I think you are safe from any restoration. We just returned from a hearing at Canadian Worker's Compensation and my better half lost a ruling from those priks because he can now move three fingers on one hand and two fingers on his other from a very serious accident nearly two years ago. The Union just doesn't have enough light duty jobs and trying to support us both on my salary isn't working. Other recent problems have made comic collecting a luxury I can no longer afford for the time being. Our lawyer was positive we would be leaving there with a check for all the jobs he's lost, for permanent damage and immediately put back on disability pay. I can't believe I didn't count my chickens before they were hatched and owe a bunch of you for comic books.

Thanks Mick and I thought I recognized the Stamp from somewhere and the dealer didn't attach a name to the collection. There were some Big Apple Pedigree DC war books floating around on some of the more popular dealers' sites , but this isn't one. Millie is awesome and I finally have a copy and I think this dealer/member wasn't keeping up with her rise in prices, because on e-bay they seem to go crazy at any grade near FN or above. Trooper, Awesome GIC and I love those early Quality books. You only paid 75.00 Nice pick-up!! :applause:

My DC war slab collection took a bit of a beating over my incident with my family so I spotted this Baby on a dealer's web-site and just had to have it. One payment down and one or two to go. Look at the bright green colors on this beauty from the Africa Korps. :acclaim: I nearly forgot my first Mille Marie cover is enroute and I got a great deal at 32.00. I wish it was higher grade, but I sure haven't seen many if any at all in HG over the last couple of years.
