  1. A big Kudos goes out to SkyPinkBlu for a great box of some cool books. Thank you Sharon. (worship)
  2. :applause: This was my first war book and Russ Heath cover I bought about five years ago and still is one of my all time favorite covers. I agree with your statement about Capt. Storm books and I'm trying to complete the run and these books just don't show up very often and especially not in any type of HG. That Capt. Storm # 8 is an awesome Greytone cover that I'm happy to say I have about a F/VF copy.
  3. :applause: :applause: Another sweeeet book from my sometimes nasty neighbor. Stll mad at me? That book is breath taking Greggy. (thumbs u
  4. I haven't posted in the war thread in a while but can't resisit. Nice books Brent you lucky son of gun. (thumbs u
  5. ...is right. There needs to be a public apology here from the seller. It's the only thing that's appropriate. (thumbs u It is hard to argue with the boards' biggest seller of late and Nick, how you keep track of payments received when buyers are running tabs and books shipped is truly amazing. I can get confused selling six items on e-bay.
  6. I might not get all the facts in this case, but I think your both slightly at fault. Sorry guys. First as the seller SZ shouldn't you be a bit more organized and recognize his payment was sent and the e-mail that paypal sends. And also UB I know it isn't necessary to send a PM when you send a paypal payment but I always do just to make sure the seller recognizes it and I never know how many other sales the seller might have going on through e-bay and on the boards. I figure good polite communication either on e-bay or on the boards always helps a bad situation or can prevent one. After a few days when SZ thought he still hadn't been paid wouldn't a polite PM resolved this easily and it shouldn't have lead to this. Just my humble opinion and I hope it all works out for your guys and you can be friends in the end. Remember we're here to have fun. (thumbs u fay
  7. I was just about to say the same thing about both of those books and quick fingers Larry beat me to it. I still can't believe how fast you were during Shep's last sales thread. That SSWS 81 has to be one of the best DC war covers created in my opinion and I recently received one and was very disappointed so the search continues. As usual great books Shep. (thumbs u
  8. Just got back from San Diego and does this mean a certain HG war collector is back on the hunt again? I'm glad to hear it Keith and only hope you buy enough books to start selling on e-bay again or even better on the forum Marketplace. Good luck with your never ending search and like you once told me you're hooked for life like the rest of us. (thumbs u
  9. :applause: Kudos to NoChips and Flying Donut for some sweet books shipped very fast and packaged perfectly. Thank you very much for the great deals you guys and "I'll be back" fay :foryou:
  10. I'm sure you will and you have to watch out for NoChips because Stuart will throw in all of his "Chips" to get certain Pedigree books.
  11. WOW!!!! Nick, your Avengers collection looks amazing and you bring up a good point for many of us newer collectors and I'm still working on patience and going after the right book. Very impressive Mate!!! (thumbs u (worship) And Jim that Avengers 25, one of my favorite SA covers is beautiful. Sweet book!!
  12. :applause: Jeff, I must have missed your previous post of those books and they are awesome and this has to be one of my favorite OAAW covers and that copy is a Beauty you've got your hands on. Sweeeeet Book!!!! The 116 is incredibly nice too. (thumbs u

  16. Sweet books Buck Biggins!!! Yours weren't too bad either Trooper or I should say they were awesome Atlas war books. Russ Heath sure can draw war covers.
  17. Sweet books Angelo, The more and more of these Atlas war books I see the more I'm starting to love them. I finally purchased a few mid-grade copies and they were pretty cool stories with nice inside art. I'm sure you guys seen that Salida thread and those incrdible copies of Navy Action # 5 and # 6. Now those were Sweeeeet.
  18. Hi Keith, How are you these days and it's been a while since we've talked. I guess it would be a ridiculous request to see if you could just pull one little OAAW book back from Heritage and you and I work out a time payment schedule even with interest. I know you can't but it's okay to dream. BTW, good luck on all your upcoming auctions.
  19. I agree with Mikey and aren't we supposed to be better than e-bay. I know some of you must be thinking, how can Miss pay on payday say that. My point is that it's so simple to send off a quick PM to make arrangements or request permission to pay on a certain date. If the book is a wicked deal and gets snapped up before you can send a PM then it's my fault for not having funds available when the book is posted. I never hit the and then begin the bargaining and we should all try to stick to these simple common sense guidelines. thanks.
  20. It was heart breaking watching you two snap up those books. One day.....I'll have enough scratch to buy some big money books again. It was nice to see two of the good guys get those.
  21. You are very very very welcome Kenny. This board member seen me selling some more of my precious books due to another money shortage and the book was 25.00 and 5.00 for shipping and this CLASS act sent me 50.00 just to help out. I sure hope the extras I threw in and the Airmail shipping made up for the extra funds you sent. Thanks again and like I've said before these boards never cease to amaze me and all the great people that frequent them. Thanks again Kenny, fay I owe you one buddy.
  22. I forgot about two purchases I made and would like to leave the better late than never Kudos to: ComicDey for some sweet books and Collin is always a pleasure to deal with. FT88 for some sweet Iron Man books that Canada Post left their mark on. More bad luck and I'm going to have to start bribing my mailman to actually handle my darn books with care. Thanks again Guys.
  23. Glad to hear you're happy and it's great to see my name along side such great sellers as Nick and BIG John. It was a real pleasure getting to know you and I'll have to keep my eye out for your next sales thread. Thanks again, fay
  24. Kudos to the following excellent buyers with lightning quick payments and a real pleasure to deal with: FourthWorld Ze-Man Monstro Hopefully you will all like your books and they arrive in a timely manner safely. Thanks again guys. Fay
  25. That's a Beauty Brent and a hard issue to find in any grade. Nice grab whever you got it. Fay Ya Fazy, you like books that state people like to hold things "the HARD way"...... Now was that very nice although I think you owe me a few shots. I guess we are going to have to call you sir soon. Major Paratrooper. Congrats on your upcoming promotion. I will sleep easier knowing you are out there protecting us although many in our society don't appreciate your fellow brothers in arms.
