WOW Fay. That's a heck of a haul (thumbs u
Thank you Richard and I'll post the other nine books when the package
arrives.

2 recent pick-ups from fee-bay
It seems to me that Atlas War and Horror books suck!! are becoming more and more popular.
NO THEY ARE NOT!!!
I concur and I would just stick to collecting DC War! (thumbs u
I think your secret is slowly getting out Dan.

2 recent pick-ups from fee-bay
Nice ones Bill. (thumbs u I've never seen that second cover before. It seems to
me that Atlas War and Horror are becoming more and more popular.

Was that Shep's copy of OAAW 40 Fay? I'm bummed I missed that one.
Yes it is Jeff. I logged on half way through his OAAW sale and was surprised
to see that beauty still available.
-
I thought you said you had all the Frogmen covers now?
-
Eighteen books heading my way this weekend thanks to Shep letting me
make a few payments and here are a few of the high-lites.
Love this cover and don't see it up for sale too often.
Russ Heath!
It's great to finally replace this issue and although I miss my CGC 7.5 River City
I know it's in a good home and my buddy Mike is a fanatic about Frogmen.
Love this cover and this copy is a beauty.
It's going to be a great upcoming week and thanks again Brian!
A great deal from e-bay seller "Phdog" or board member Phil50. A great seller
that I would highly recommend! (thumbs u
-
Awesome Frontline Combat. Nice bright colors.
Just picked this up off e-bay for under 40.00 and I need to start searching for
some EC war books and I wish I could find those for 40.00.
-
I posted this in general already but thought I'd share it with you guys here also. I got this from the same warehouse I found the others at, at the same price of 2 bucks. Couldn't be happier handing over those two crisp one dollar bills for this book.
And i agree with Fazybones, I'd say that was Sgt. Rock if I didn't know any better.
Two Bucks!! Wouldn't it be nice to find a stash of DC War books all for two bucks.
Great Pick-up!! (thumbs u
I never even thought to read my copy of AAMOW 79 Wild Bill.
I've got a good excuse now.
-
A Geat seller and a person to deal with and I've had a few transaction with
Adam both buying and selling and what perfect transactions they were.
One of the better sellers on the boards. (thumbs u
Thanks again Adam,

You are very welcome Bill and I prefer to find a good home for the few
undercopies I've had instead of all the work involved selling them.? I think
the SA War section is one of the nicest group of people that frequent
these boards. (thumbs u
It was a great trade and the half hour I spent so far watching the disc was
awesome. I'll get back to you when I've watched more of it. (thumbs u

One of my better weeks in a while.
Plus a few more Atlas books I need to scan.
-
Nice SSWS 81 Brian!!
This Beauty arrived today!!
-
Fay,
I'll definitely pass you first right of refusal on my under-copy of SSWS 81 just as soon as I get an under-copy. Of course, in order to have an "under-copy," I'd need to have 2 and that's gonna be tough since I don't even have a single copy of SSWS 81 to begin with. Much to my chagrin, that's one of the ishes that's eluded me forever.
I was only joking Mick. I never see that SSWS 81 on any of the dealer's
sites, auctions or e-bay. There must be a few nice copies out there some
where and I guess the few owners must realize how rare that book is.
Are there any graded copies on the census?
-
A few war books I've had for a quite some time, but just recently got a CGC-friendly scanner so finally getting around to posting them. The first two I've already posted, but hopefully these scans are better than the last ones:
WOW Mick!! Awesome books and I love your new scanner.
How many of you out there thinks the soldier on the cover of AAMOW 79
has a striking resemblance with Sgt Rock or is it just me?
Do you have a GIC 54 you could post? You do realize you owe me a small
favor one day. Maybe an under copy of SSWS 81?
-
What a great thread this is to admire so many cool books.
This one should arrive next week. It made the top ten of Andy's Survivor's
Series in CG.
-
Good Luck finding a sweet key war book and make sure you post
your final pick when you receive it.
Welcome to the boards Wild Bill Kelso! (thumbs u
-
I've purchased several books from Stuart both on the boards and e-bay
and I've never been disappointed. A great seller and I would highly
recommend him to anyone. (thumbs u
Thanks for all the sweet books Stuart,

This is a belated Kudos and thank you for Chuck on some awesome
CA and MA lots he sold me before Christmas. It was a perfect
transaction with some nice freebies thrown in. (thumbs u
Great seller on these boards and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from him
again.
Thanks again and I'm sorry for the late Kudos.

Just won this on ComicLink.
Nice book!
Ready for a group shot now Mark.
I guess I should post a book in this thread.
After I pay off a ton of war books I want a CGC 9.4 TTA 85 and if
only you upgraded your copy a month from now.
-
Batman #189 CGC 9.6 Off-White Pages - 1st S.A. Scarecrow
WOW!! Awesome book and one of favorite SA covers.
Why did I sell my two previous copies?
-
Thanks, got it in hand yesterday. Pics do It no justice.
I'll bet that book is nicer in hand like many books.
When can we expect the group shot of those awesome books?
Nothing beats a group shot of some sweet comics all from the same
series. Issue 85 is one of my favorites for some reason.
-
Amazing pick-ups Mark! I've said it before, saying it again...group shot!!!
That would be nice and I love your new TTA 85 and wish I had the
scratch for the one you just sold for a great deal. (thumbs u
-
Thanks for all your hard work Andy!
Come on all you war nuts get your votes in. PLEASE!
-
I missed the the last two rounds.
Still scored some real Beauties!
Canada Post sure is slow and I can hardly wait to try out my sort of new scanner
on some fresh arrivals.
I posted these before as pictures.
Love this cover and Basement Comics has a nice copy on e-bay right now.
I forgot to nominate this book for the upcoming contest. Look how perfect the airplane is drawn leading the attack. I wish I could draw like that.
Great sales thread Brian!! (thumbs u
