  1. Can you quantify how much thicker? Either how many millimeters before and after, or a percentage? How much space graded cards take up is an important factor.
  2. Paul - thanks for the reply. Are you considering any other options for the design of the label for cards? Either the ability to choose the color, using metallic stock like BGS (which, honestly, I think blows everyone else away), or just any variants. In my case it would be Magic the Gathering cards.
  3. I've never sent in a card for grading, but I'm considering grading a few dozen that have special meaning to me. In choosing a grading company, aesthetic appeal is the primary deciding factor for me (the quality of the grading is second). Unfortunately, I don't really care for the blue CGC label. BGS is the only company who makes a label I like, and also the only holder I don't like (too thick). But I think CGC's pedigree label has some promise. I have some questions about it: Comics look like they require a famous collection. But for cards, you can pedigree to yourself with no restrictions? That's what it seems to say on the services&fees page. What can you put for a pedigree? Does it have to be just your name? How many characters? The comics pedigree label shows gold on the https://www.cgccomics.com/grading/labels/ . Is that how the card pedigree label looks? The pedigree label looks like it might be shiny metallic. Is that true? (That'd be cool.) Thanks!
