  1. @content808 Cards that are not yet in the database may take longer. Not sure if you had to manually enter any cards, but those usually delay submissions.
  2. Also know it's not Calendar days. It's business days.. and any Friday before a major convention (which is like almost every Friday, lol) doesn't count.. I also think their turn around estimator is broken.. though.. But maybe @JuliaJ CS knows more? Because at the time of my submission it was estimated 10 days. It's currently been 17 "Business Days" and almost 30 calendar days.
  3. Interesting it took so long to get scanned in.. But then again nothing surprises me at this point.. My submission has been in grading for a week now.. with no movement.. despite the Estimated "5 Day" turn around. CGC needs to do better in managing customers expectations.. and failing to meet estimated turn-around times is not it..
  4. You're telling me lol... 🤷‍♂️Definitely didn't expect to see any movement on that.. When I'm patiently waiting for the bulk to go into QC/F.
  5. Bulk Pokémon (118 cards) Arrived: 8/05 Received: 8/08 SFG: 8/08 GEI: 8/27 QC/F: 8/30 Shipped: 9/06 TOTAL TIME (BUSINESS DAYS): 18 Days (Estimated Turn-around at the time of submission: 9 days) ________________________________ Jumbo Pokémon Cards (21 cards) Arrived: 8/22 Received: 8/28 SFG: 8/28 GEI: 8/29 QC/F: Shipped: CURRENT TOTAL TIME (BUSINESS DAYS): 6 Days (Estimated Turn-around at the time of submission: 20 days)
  6. ^ This is an incorrect statement... Below is my personal card. I have not seen a "New"Gold/Black label with an error.. However if i was to guess, they would either #1 just put the error on the backside or #2 put "error" on the front under the card name.
  7. CGC does not mark down for print lines. I have a perfect 10 with 3 print lines. I would argue that modern English card grades seem to be inconsistent due to the unfortunate nature that the printing quality on English cards remains lackluster and overall poor. I wouldn't necessary pass the blame onto CGC. I think they are doing their best to maintain standards, with the cards they're given. I agree, submitting English cards is not ideal even if they appear near flawless by the naked eye. I do also agree more transparency is good, release margins and common flaws associated with English vs. Japanese etc. would be awesome and well received.
  8. Impossible to know for certain without examining the card in person. They could be specks of dust, camera artifacts, or texture layer flaws. The surface issue is more than likely on the frontside somewhere in the texture ink layer.
  9. After your annual renewal, you will have $150 grading credit added to your account. There is no way to look into the amount you have left currently without reaching out to customer service. V/R, Lord Iron
  10. Below is my opinion and I’m am not associated with CGC Cards. English cards are notorious for bad print quality. Also realize CGC utilizes cutting edge imaging that looks at the cards under UV & Infrared light showing imperfections in the surface (more than likely in the texture pattern). Just a quick glance at the high res, I seen some spots that may be imperfections due to the printing process. Very Respectfully, Lord Iron
  11. I've never had trouble with FedEx. In my opinion they do a wonderful job, and the added benefit of partnering with them allows a certain level of additional protection through insurance of your collectibles. Only cavate is that there is always a required signature at delivery, so make sure you are home on delivery day 😉
  12. Same. My order was “scheduled for grading” and now is “received” curious as to why? Maybe system glitch?
  13. It’s really bizarre the inconsistency here. Not sure the thought behind the scale. Official CGC response?
