  1. Was shopping for a gold foil edition of The Boys #1 to get signed by Jack Quaid and stumbled upon two different versions. One is truer to the 1st print and has the issue number under the title. The other has the issue number in the left corner. Anyone know why the difference? Retailer exclusives? Different print years? Regional variants? I've seen both versions slabbed for sale online but CGC doesn't list any difference.
  2. Last weekend I was at a convention and had 3 books signed by a comic creator and witnessed by a CGC affiliate. I handed my books over to them for submission and got the receipt but forgot to add pressing service to the order. Is it possible to add pressings to my order after the fact? I don't think the books have arrived to CGC yet but they should be en route.
  3. 2022 Comicpalooza will also include Stephanie Phillips, Jock and Christopher Eccleston I'd love to get my Grim #1, some Harley Quinn comics and Dr. Who books signed/verified. Y'all gonna be there, CGC?
  4. Thank you. The fact that you're helping spread awareness for a relatively cheap and fun product demand is already a win for me.
  5. When I first purchased my CGC membership last year, I was sent a complimentary comic books small shipping kit. And I fell in love with the CGC grade sticker inside. I was able to get the yellow signature series 9.8. Then I searched through the forums to discover that other members received different variants of the CGC graded sticker. My collector brain lit up. How many variants of these stickers exist? Is there a 10.0 yellow label? Are they printed in different rarites? As a collector, I usually pre order from online comic shops and eBay vendors, leaving me with excess shipping boxes. The excess boxes and the fact that the CCG shop having the item backordered keeps me from persuing more of these neat little things. Sadly, they are not for individual sale. If CGC sold these stickers in a mystery pack, I would gladly pay for it. In addition to my previous questions, how do we get the ball rolling into making this a thing? Thanks for reading.
  6. Became a new member very close to a signature series deadline. Was able to overnight my comic in time, CGC was just busier than usual so my update was slow. Another concern was the multiple submissions I had sent for a single book. I was worried that my credit card would be charged multiple times but later found out that CGC only charges your account per book they have of yours in hand. What I learned from this experience: 1) Mail your signature series comics early and in bundles when grading multiple comics. Saves on overnight and regular shipping. 2) When calling CGC and living on the west coast, call early. Before 1pm pacific time. 3) When calling CGC, call on a weekday. No phone operators on weekends from what I understand and the deadline I had was on a Saturday, so get all your info beforehand. 4) Double check your comic book labeling for submitting. Research accurately everything about your specific issue. A variant I submitted was actually released 2 months after the issue it's based on. 5) It's okay to mess up multiple submissions. CGC doesn't charge you unless they have your physical comic book in hand with accurate labelling printed and shipped by you. So don't worry about multiple card charges for one signed issue of whatever. 6) If you must overnight your comic, there's 3 options: USPS, UPS and FEDEX. Mail your comic to the CGC PO Box if using USPS. FEDEX and UPS delivery, mail to the communications parkway address.
