The point is I feel that everyone deserves a second chance, except Alley Bat he knew what he was doing.

Comic Supply has already had a second chance. Apparently, he's had several dozen of them. And many of the people that were screwed over by him have said the same thing...that they have repeatedly emailed him and left him phone messages and they have been summarily ignored. Both Comic Supply and Alley Bat knew exactly what they were doing. They both earned their spots in the Probation List Hall of Shame and they should both stay there.

I don't think that's the case so far all i seen was 5 people say that he owed, and he is trying to fix it now. Show some goodwill and lets see what happens

Here is what I have a problem with. The probation list is to warn buyers or sellers of members who didn't make good on there commitment either buying or selling. If that member who wrong other members fixes the mistakes that member should be taken of the list. I am having a problem right now with a member not keeping up with his end of the bargain and if its not fix within 30 days I will ask to get him added to the list, but if he comes back and tries to fix the problem after he is put on the list I would say take him off the list. The point is I feel that everyone deserves a second chance, except Alley Bat he knew what he was doing. I seen alot of goodwill the past 2 weeks and I thought it was fantastic I am proud to see what this place can do for people in a time of need, lets keep that goodwill going and I feel that the boards will be that much better of a place.

Take it up with Divad.

Why Divad, if its up to Divad he will never take him off and it's not up to divad. Divad has had something against russ fora long time.

You get antsy over some smutz inside the case and what you perceive as some glue on the inner casing.

 

you raise the glue issue on the forums.

 

you raise the glue concerns with CGC.

 

you contact seller looking for a refund.

I understand it appears as impatience to those not impacted, and respect your summary, though some of how you generalized this is not in the right order.

 

I contacted Rich first the day after receiving the book, pointed out this large glue area across the bottom of the case - not a smudge - and see he reads the PM, but throughout the day never responds.

 

Then I called CGC to ask if this was common in their process. I didn't come on the forum and point this out ahead of time because I wanted to run it by Rich and CGC first.

 

It was all a matter of lack of communication at points, which was summarized in-detail a few posts back. Summarizing it the way you did would just be leading down the path of trying to state there was little to no issue. That was not the case.

 

Think about this from the buyer's perspective, and how it would appear in a first transaction with a seller.

I do alot of buying and I would of never taken that approach that you took, you jumped the gun and went public. You should of waited for a response then if you didn't get a response then take the appropriate measures.

Oh well, it is Divad so he should have known the guy was going to end up on the list.

I don't get this, Divad started the Probation list but he's buying books from someone who is on the probation list.

 

Well I for one don't understand how comic supply a dealer is on the probation list, I for one am very happy with comic supply I spent 800.00 there just in the past couple of days and I got great looking books and fast service, I will be going back there again.

 

Btw, this poster has been on my ignore list for so long, I can't even remember why . . .

I remember why, a couple of years ago you posted a on a cap 110 cgc 9.0 that I had for sale on the forums then you backed out of the deal saying that the book wasn't what I said that it was. I remember telling you that its a cgc 9.0 with ow-w pages and you still said that it wasn't what you wanted. I then tried to put you on the probation list and you erased it.

Well Divad I agree with IITravel he apologized and you accepted and removed him from the list, he should not be on the list, you have no reason to add him to the list unless he did someone else wrong. Since I have been a member of these boards I have seen you get into countless battles with other board members comic supply (which you lied about) IITravel, myself and other people who defended us. So let the forum members vote to see if IITravel should be on the list.

Well If the mods wont help, what would be a good ideal is that we elect one person to start a probation thread, and when we have a deal gone sour we pm that person so he can post a name, no one else, that will stop any bickering or flaming.

It is not our job to start a thread about someone not paying that would only lead to bickering and flaming. What should happen is that we contact the mods and they take care of it or start a probation thread not us.

Look at the bickering. This is the reason why this thread should be deleted, it’s childish, calling out a person because he didn’t pay, you have a problem with someone for not paying don’t deal with them again.

I know that I’m new here but wouldn’t be better to make arrangements with the forum moderators to ban someone if they don’t pay then to put there name up and start a flaming war. I think that if they get banned from the forum that would hurt them more than a list. It’s never good to air dirty laundry.
