9 hours seems like a short period of time to me, to make an offer and then move off of it without any idea if it's going to be accepted or not. Did you tell him you wanted a response back in seven hours? No I did not, I just saw that he read it about a hour after I sent the first msg and I thought he didnt like the offer. I checked again about 5 hours later and saw no response. He did read the msg about a hour after I sent it and didn't respond.

I have a question? I would like to know if this situation is probation worthy. I send a offer to someone, I see that he read the offer and didnt reply. I checked again about 7 hours later and no response so I decided to buy something else. He reply about 9 hours later and says ok "but know I already spent the money" I informed that I spent the money, but I was wondering if its a offense

And that is the attitude I've seen since I told him about the damage. His packing is beyond reproach since the books were double boxed, never mind that double boxing is worthless when the books are free to bounce around inside the box because they aren't taped to the cardboard press in the middle and the press isn't taped together with more than one piece of cellophane tape. Instead to him it's more likely that, after my 5 years on the board and buying thousands and thousands of dollars worth of books here, I decided to pull a book out of a bag by the corner of the front cover and then, to cover the damage, crushed the corner of the book and the 1/2 back to fool and rip him off. And I decided to do that over a f'n $175 book; it's a ludicrous as it is maddening. Right now he is just another sell who "didn't have a problem refunding his money" until it actually came time to do it. Hate to tell you, but you wouldn't be the first one to try to pull that scam and I have always refunded anyone's money but this doesnt even closely look right. Corner bang yes, could happen; ripped corner INSIDE the dang bag, no way. That's where my problem lies. And no need to start cursing and ranting, that's why we're taking it here He had to take it here because you refused to refund him? Why does he have to be a scammer? That remark alone would get me upset also.

OK this is getting STUPID! How can sellers on Ebay get added to the list who are not even members to the forums just for adding CGC IT. Even if they belong to the forums its stupid! I agree 100% Since the probie list was Divads brain child I nominate him. I have long felt the list itself should be locked in this way. I second Divad's nomination but think we need at least one other person (ideally two others) to insure realtime coverage, especially for things like hectic work days, being sick, going on vacation etc. It may also be good to have the other people in different time zones, maybe one on the East Coast and one in one of those odd European places. . This is a good idea, but as my participation has been limited of late, I like POV's idea of having 4 or 5 authorized members. I'm fine with the three posters here and perhaps bosco as well? That is the only truly significant book in the run. In addition, I guess I am in the minority, but I do not mind the cover at all. Me too! I love the cover. Same here!

How about we make a rule that the best Adams Bat book has to have Adams interiors along with cover. btw the interior pencils are a lot worse in Tec 411 then Bat 227, Irv Norvick ain't that bad. The reason why I think the 411 is real high on the list is because thats when it all starts. First appearance of Talia al Ghul and when it first mentions Ra's al Ghul the best villain since the Joker.

IMO 232 then tec 411
