  1. Someone complimented him on the shirt and he quickly said, "Its fresh from my tailor this morning" Just one of the many cool cats at the event.
  2. Took a few books and were in my hands before I paid....maybe not so fast but fast nonetheless. Packaged extremely well too.
  3. Zorro Rides Again #7 2012 $1.00 Zorro Rides Again #8 2012 $1.00 Zorro Rides Again #9 2012 $1.00 Zorro Rides Again #10 2012 $1.00 Zorro Rides Again #11 2012 $1.00 Ghost in the Shell Ashcan
  4. Did you get them pressed for the Mark Waid signing?
  5. Harley Quinn #3, #9, #10, and Batman/Superman #1 (3rd Print) at BOGO PLEASE
  6. Thanks to @Aarrow108 I got my Marv Wolfman sigs on three books witnessed and submitted by the Desert Wind Comics crew, who were wonderful and super busy, I was amazed at seeing all the people there. I got to meet one of my ALL TIME favorites. I was the shameless Nightwing fan with shirt and matching mask. I almost said to myself, "I'll catch him at Wondercon or something" but thankfully changed my mind. The worst part was when I saw a print of a Sheldon Moldoff Robin and Bat-Hound, asked the gentlemen how much, says to me it was 8...I said I'll take it. Turns out...it was an original piece and not 8 bucks but $800!! Biggest facepalm ever...apologized and left feeling embarrassed beyond belief. All in all it was great...random Liefeld out in the wild was great too.
  7. Thank you everyone for taking time in sharing your thoughts about this. I definitely value the chance in meeting ANY artist/writer that played a big part in stories that I've enjoyed like Capullo/Snyder. But ultimately I'll go the convention route. Definitely more time consuming but meeting and getting a chance to exchange a few words with them would be awesome. Thanks everyone.
  8. Greg Capullo will be at a local con pretty soon but there is currently a chance of submitting directly to cgc for a signing. I don't know how much he charges at a con so there is that to consider, anyone with experience is welcomed to chime in and no, CGC will not be attending this con themselves. Assuming I can get a witness or a facilitator for the con, which would be the best option?
  9. I can't be the only one thinking this, but the whole variant of another variant (for example the black/white version is priced higher than a color trade dress copy) It seems counter-intuitive paying more for less but hey to each their own. On the plus side, if one of my favorite artists comes up with something amazing for some special event, I'm picking it up. (Kelley Jones for instance)
  10. That's heartbreaking. I've actually been in an airport where a famous professional wrestler was harassed by these 'flippers'... they even send kids in with dozens of items to be signed sometimes. But yeah to be grouped in with those people, I can't imagine what the exchange of words must have been like.
  11. Just out of curiosity, how much would it cost you from Australia to send in one book for the sig? Assuming of course you've done the mental math.
  12. I'm going to a con for the first time with the primary purpose of meeting my favorite artists/creators. Perhaps a sketch/sig but meeting them and buying a thing or two directly from would be great. But what if it goes wrong, that is where you come in. Tell me anything the artist (or you) did that made the experience not that great. That way I won't be too disappointed and I'll know that maybe others had it worse. BUT PLEASE NO NAMES of any artist/creator. I don't want this to become a mud-slinging affair.
  13. Was wondering the same thing. Thinking of sending Rich Henn some stuff in time for Baltimore but I think I'll try my luck with LA Comic Con, its just an hour away from me. It'll be my first experience getting stuff done in person, hopefully with a witness.
  14. Happy to order directly from your website. Thank you for letting us know about this.
