I got this for $90, guy stated "NM" but I think it is VF to VF+ as best. Before I proceed just wanted some pro opinions.

Thanks, that is what I was hoping someone would tell me haha So even though only one side of the board is "treated" do not worry about storing a comic on the other side? I still one comic per bag and board like I did in the old days. My boxes are so heavy, they are going to put my back out dragging them around

Always collected just to read. Never cared about condition to much. Anything that was worth $50 or over I just double boarded and moved on I have a HUGE Superman run, every single comic from DC from around 1982-2011. I want to keep it nice but really nothing is of value tbh so not sure what to do Right now most of my collection (other than my new Superman that is just stacked up :\) is in BCW poly "silver" bags, 2 comic per bag, with one board Should I worry about doing this? Acid, comics turning yellow, etc? Help me understand

Does anyone store low value comics in bags only?
MutantMike replied to MutantMike's topic in Comics General
I like this. As stated above, I had some come via mail, 6 per silver bag, and the guy had 1 board in the middle and it was nice! But even without the bag a lot of collectors do this "brick" method? I mean of the 1000+ Superman comic run I have from 1987-2011, only a few are above $10 so with most being $1-$2 I might try this. Does the box have to be full using the brick method or will drooping not occur due to so many per bag? -

Just got a run of books in the mail yesterday. Guy had 6 per silver bag, all facing opposite directions for spines sake, only 1 board! They were real nice this way, I might try that. So loose book, multiple per bag and no board is fine but fill box is important? I do notice the "drooping" in about 20-30 I bought from my big Superman run were they were stored in a box no board but not full. I did not know the term for it until now -
I have a big Superman run I got, about 1000 comics, 1987-2011. I have bags but not boards at the moment but have read a lot about people storing 4-6 comics per bag, no board for collections and run but using a board for something that may have a little value

Comic shop date stamp on page destroys value?
MutantMike replied to MutantMike's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
No bags and board, but I have about 800 new ones Yeah would like to get them less but he is pretty stingy and says at a couple bucks an issue it is great for me -
Comic shop date stamp on page destroys value?
MutantMike replied to MutantMike's topic in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
I cannot imagine it being on every issue but he thinks that is the case I mean for every single issue and annuals from the time frame and being VF/NM and NM, I think the $500 he is asking is real fair for 260 issues -
PGM Amazing Spider-Man 361
MutantMike replied to MutantMike's topic in Hey buddy, can you spare a grade?
I apologize, just added a couple back pics Also the stain does go through to other pages as well but gets lighter as you turn the pages -

Looking at a bunch of copper this morning and from Tim Drake key issues and some others, they are just so much cheaper vs Spider man and other Marvel books. Also even some of the higher end bronze keys seem undervalued, to me at least I understand why but will this ever change? I mean is Batman dying with younger fans thanks to MCU?
