  1. Here is their response.... Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to see that your submission is delayed. Our Magazine tiers are all experiencing delays in processing due to a previous hold on magazine holder production while a new magazine holder was developed. While I understand your frustration, we post clearly on our Services and Fees page of the website that turnaround times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We appreciate your patience as the team works to complete submissions as efficiently as possible. Best Regards, Julia J So helpful...so sincere... I love how they hide behind their "disclaimer." I guess they are trained to do that. Even though it is not legally actionable fraud...it's still fraud. Dropping the TATs when they KNOW they have submissions older than that date to encourage more submissions is *F*R*A*U*D*. Alec
  2. Thanks amigo! I am awaiting a support email. If that doesn't resolve it, I'll call. Alec
  3. I see they moved the TAT for Economy/Modern magazines down to 245 days. Yet my submission is sitting in SFG for 270 days. This is the definition of fraud. Alec
  4. Whoa! Are you sure they weren't received 12/29/21? That sounds more likely since there is a 1 year wait. Alec
  5. I think its a case of too much money, not enough brains. Alec
  6. Thank you for doing that! I sense you don't care for the response about as much as we don't. Smells very corporate BS-y. Sad for such a once dynamic company. That's what investment capital buys in many cases. "Look away, nothing to see here...we're not incompetent, you're incompetent...shut up and take it peon." Alec
  7. My Magazine Economy order went SFG on 2/3/2022. 267 Florida business days ago. I'm seeing folks after me already in GEI. Wow.
  8. My economy magazines have been Scheduled for Grading since 2/3/2022. 266 Florida workdays. Anyone earlier? Alec
  9. Thank you @CGC Mike for you advocacy on our behalf. I think a good start would be to get the turnaround time page reflecting reality. An honest snapshot of where we are could go a long way. A focused effort on getting these backlogged magazines completed as quickly as possible would go even farther. Thanks for all you do Alec
  10. @JaymanThose look great!! Thanks for checking out my site. I am doing tons of stuff on Instagram right now. Having a "Best Cover" vote for issues 1-32 right now. Round 1 voting for the "Vincent Price Bracket" starts at 11AM eastern today! Bring all your "fiends!" Alec
  11. Thank you for the kind words! Just an average guy trying to bring this brand into the new millennium! Alec
  12. My Econ Magazine submission from Feb 2 2022 has just crossed the "overdue" threshold and support sent the following: Thanks for reaching out to CGC Comics. We apologize for the delays with your books. As of right now we are rolling out our new magazine holders and this has held up many submissions in the system. We are trying to get these out as quickly as possible but you can expect some more delays due to this. You can read more about this in the below article. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. Thank you. So al least that jibes with @CGC Mike's intel. Thanks for keeping us in the loop Mike. From an operational perspective I am trying to figure out how this got screwed up. You have a functioning line of "old" magazine slabs and it looks like you shut that down, stopping production, and then tried to figure out how to get the "new" magazine slabs through the system. Is it me or should the lines have run in parallel until all the kinks got worked out? I don't know all the details to be sure. Did they run out of "old" parts? How could the new labels have had a problem if the "old" line was shut down? Surely that had to have been worked out by then? Sorry, just ranting. I'll wait for my 1 year+ order and steam while I watch my ST orders just sit and sit. Alec
  13. I purchased a Plustek A3 Large Format Flat Bed scanner awhile back and had to return it. It can't image slabs properly. There is always a glare on the image. But my review follows:
  14. A pair of highest graded! I purchased the one on the right already graded but there is a note on the label that reads: "FJA 1964, a very rare issue + the publisher's pet cover out of the first 28 numbers" written on 2nd page in pen. I've never actually seen this writing and I am tempted to crack the slab and photograph the inscription. But it leads me to believe this was Uncle Forry's personal copy. This came from the collection of major Munsters collector, the late Tony Greco from Pittsburgh. A close friend of fellow Munsters collector and producer, the late Kevin Burns. I purchased and had graded the one on the left from a "garage find" in addition to several other very early books. Thanks for looking!
