  1. Marvel Mystery Comics #43 CGC 4.5 Universal. Label states: off white to white pages. Bought this out of an original owner collection in the mid 90s. Sold it raw to a buddy after a divorce. He had it graded, but I'm pretty positive he didn't have it pressed. I bought it back several years later but I'm cutting the run earlier than this issue now, so it's available.
  2. Captain America #36 CGC Universal 1.8. Label states: cream to off white pages, 2 pieces of tape on interior cover.
  3. Just a few books tonight. in the thread trumps any messaging negotiations. $15 boxed priority shipping with signature confirmation in the continental U.S. Shipping outside the continental U.S. is expensive and will be whatever the actual cost is. Paypal, money orders, or checks for payment. 7 day return privilege on raw books, no returns on certified books.
  4. Sweet copy! White pages and the most minor work! I bet it's a beauty in hand!
  5. Thanks for identifying them! I'm glad that people are sharing interiors as well as covers. It'll help to be able to identify coverless books.
  6. I'll have to get back to you on that, as I don't have it handy.
  7. What a cool pic!!! I know the top right copy is a Tec 21, but I don't know which issues the top left one or the open copy on the bottom are.
  8. That Action 13 is SUPER cool!!! Luckily it got kicked out of the restoration pile!!! You could ALWAYS have it restored, but I'd bet it's worth several times more being unrestored. Great book to already have.
  9. If I can, I'll be at Wizard Chicago this year. I haven't been the last 2 years so I need to get back. Have a great show Ricky!!!
  10. I never noticed that before! I'd be sure that Guardineer was very aware of Flessel's work.
  11. That's really a bummer about the sticky color touch on your Tec 5. If you want that touched up so it's repaired and doesn't stick anymore, I can't recommend Kenny's work enough!! If you send it in to CCS, Matt will take a look at it for you and make an evaluation. I'm positive that they can fix it right up. Yeah, lots of people were on the restoration bandwagon in the 80s. I don't mind restoration on books that need it. In fact, I had a Daring Mystery 2 that was really rough. The spine was gone, as in, none of the pages or covers were connected anymore! It also had about a 3" x 3" piece off of the back cover. I gave it to Matt to save it's life. It took him a few years, really only working on it in his spare time, total back burner kind of thing. He turned it into a solid, completely attached, completely mended, easily readable copy. He absolutely saved it's life. So yeah, I'm all for saving books like that. I've just never agreed with taking a nice 6.0 and color touching it to get it to 8.0. I say leave those books alone. Restoration or not, the Tecs you posted here are beautiful
  12. One of the fun surprises for me in looking through the pre-hero DC books is that I find cool house ads that I didn't know about. Although this copy of More Fun 36 is no longer in my hands, I DID think to grab a pic of the inside front cover!!
  13. THANK YOU for this info!! Being a major Larson buyer as you are, I figured you may have some knowledge in regard to them. SOMEONE must know something as to their whereabouts or at least remember seeing them at one point in time. That's something fun to look forward to
  14. Thanks Steve! It was on NearMint's website and as I recall, it cost me just over 2 skins. Now that's just a front cover, so I'm still on the hunt for the back cover. I'm kinda nutty about how I'm putting the Tecs together: I want my certified copies unrestored with bright colors and high page quality. My raw reader copies …. I'm open to restoration, no specific grade range. The only thing there that I really don't want is chipping, crumbly books. That's great that you grabbed up all of those coverless copies!!! There's some fun reading there and I don't think many (if any) of them have been reprinted. I'll keep a look out for any covers for them but they ARE pretty difficult to find.
  15. Incredible!!! The raw Mile High Detective14 looks like it was just printed!!! So cool, thanks RHG!!!
  16. WOW, what an amazing run of raw early Detectives!!! It must be pretty thrilling to be able to look through a Detective #1 at your leisure!!! Well done!!! Oh and thanks for posting them!!!
  17. A great Batman panel and Zatara!!! VERY cool
  18. Oh my goodness!!!! I can't stop staring at them!!! VERY sweet collection!!! And it looks like great page quality too!!!! Thank you for posting them!!!
  19. That's AWESOME, thanks for posting this!!!
  20. This is a copy that used to belong to a longtime collector friend. Having seen it many times over the years, I was very happy to have been able to purchase it.
