  1. This is why we have the Mechanical Error submission.
  2. @Upgrayedd2, I was able to pull up a couple of my books on the "Verify CGC Certification" page.
  3. Below is book 2. This book is mostly text, and the scuffs don’t show up great in the images. So, I have circled the areas of scuffs. Back they’ll go…again.
  4. I recently received a 2-book ME Submission back from CGC. These slabs, like many others I’ve received back recently, have quite a number of scuffs within the slab. Below is book 1:
  5. If you allow 2 days off for both Christmas and New Year's, you're just over the 15 day published turnaround time, and pressing apparently hasn't started. It never hurts to call or email CGC customer service...

  9. The website is ...interesting. They sure throw around "CGC"...
  10. @Gaard, if my math is any good, I believe that @GeeksAreMyPeeps has submitted 3 of his books 5 times in an attempt to get a good quality encapsulation. I feel very confident that the last 7 books shipped back to me were submitted more than 5 times. And 2 of them are on there way back...
  11. @GeeksAreMyPeeps, my experience is similar to yours. My 1st submission to CGC was in Mar 2021, and for the 1st year or so, the quality of the slabs was excellent. Since the summer of 2022, there have been issues. Lots of scuffing, newtons for a while. I've attached my recent submissions. Note they are all MEs, except for 1 reholder. I have also been on a cycle of sending submitted slabs back to get problems fixed. Hopefully the cycle ends soon.
  12. 7 Book Mechanical Error Submission. I hope that by it going from QC back to SFG, they're correcting the case issues I have been having to return as MEs. We'll see. 2023-10-04 Delivered to CGC/CGC Scanned Delivery 2023-10-05 CGC Received/SFG 2023-10-18 GEI 2023-10-23 G/QC 2023-10-30 SFG
