  1. They'll only grade/authenticate cards that they personally witnessed being autographed. From their FAQ. "Does CGC Trading Cards grade autographed or signed cards? CGC Trading Cards does not authenticate signatures. If a card has been signed, it will be graded and encapsulated with the Qualified (Green) Label, with "Unwitnessed Signature" on the back of the label."
  2. This whole thing is either a giant joke or we're being trolled. October 2020 – “Yes, we will have a population report in the future.” December 2020 – “It is a top priority now, so will hopefully be coming soon!” February 2021 – “Still working on it, sorry. It is a lot of programming to create.” March 2021 – “No update, sorry. Still in progress. Will likely be a few months.” May 2021 – “We have the pop report file internally already which includes every card we've graded so far. We are just working on updating the website so that this information is easy to peruse.” June 2021 – “We are still working on this. It is coming, I promise.” July 2021 – “There is no solid date for the pop report. It is coming though, and is actively being worked on.” September 2021 – “It is still being worked on, but progress is definitely being made.” October 2021 – “Likely to be early 2022, sorry for the delay!” November 2021 – “Unfortunately it has been delayed a bit, but we are throwing more resources at the project to try to get it launched sooner. Probably looking at early in 2022.” December 2021 – “The next thing on the docket is the CGC Trading Cards Pop Report, which I am told will be done by early February at the latest.” January 2022 – “Unfortunately, the CSG Census was delayed a bit due to some data issues in the database, not with the functionality of the website itself. So the delay of the CSG one should hopefully not affect the CGC TC Census release, which is still planned within the first couple months of this year.” January 2022 – “Yes, February is still the goal, although perhaps more like mid to late. We had some issues with CSG data that has delayed that launch, but the CGC data set is smaller and so should be easier to deal with.” February 2022 – “Yes, hopefully within a month! We are just fixing some database issues to make sure everything displays properly and in order.” February 2022 – “Should be by the end of March. There have been unforeseen complications, as there always tend to be, unfortunately.” March 2022 – “Hopefully will be this month still. If not, should be very early next month.”
  3. Also note that this card was not pulled from a booster pack, but is from the Thunderstorm Gift Box. You can tell because of the cosmos foil pattern instead of starlight foil pattern.
  4. Hopefully they won't. Someone on facebook flooded the market with thousands of these jungle NFC cards last year, and encapsulating/grading them will only encourage others to cut up old sheets. Also, Paul had this to say on another recent thread about trimmed cards - I don't see how NFC cards like this are materially different. "The only way in which CGC guarantees the authenticity of a card is if it is still sealed in its original CGC holder. If a card is returned raw, like these were, we are not making any claims as to the authenticity of the cards. Could they still be authentic? Of course, and I am sure they are. But because they were cut in a way that can be seen as deceptive, we will never put them in a CGC holder. There is no room for debate on this. We simply will not be doing it because, intentional or not, they are made to look like a different issue. " (emphasis added).
  5. Because WotC gave away numerous uncut sheets, there are a plethora of square cuts that have been cut by scammers in an attempt to fool people into thinking that they are real misprints/miscuts. The term for this is NFC (Not Factory Cut). This does not appear to be as big of a problem with modern cards because TPCi has not been known to give away uncut sheets.
  6. This is a fake card. The easiest way to tell is the "star" pattern where the holo would normally be. On an authentic card that pattern is not printed on the card. Rather, the stars are part of the foil that is overlayed on the card stock. Therefore, if there is no foil layer there would be no "stars" in the art. Your card was produced via photocopier, which is why there are stars.
  7. What and who are you talking about? The only information I know about you is what you have posted on this website. I reported you for your open-ended threats against me.
  8. Yes - an ebay search of "Miscut Pokemon" or "Square cut pokemon" will show plenty of sellers selling NFC cards as misprints.
  9. Share what with who? And what misinformation? That people cut uncut sheets to look like factory miscuts? That is a fact, not misinformation.
  10. NFC (not factory cut) cards are those made by shysters to imitate the look of factory miscuts for the purpose of tricking people into thinking they are buying rare misprints. The fact that NFC cards exist is why the legitimacy of this card is being called into question, because sketchy people cut cards after-market to look like real miscuts. If people didn't cut cards like this on purpose, no one would question if this was factory or not. It's really bad for the hobby.
  11. I'm pretty sure my middleman (Ludkins) didn't mark the box for my submission correctly. The cards have been marked as delivered (but not received) since at least March 4, which was then they implemented a tracking system so that users can see status updates. That's at a minimum 9 business days that my express order has been sitting unreceived. I likely think it's been much longer, since they supposedly mailed it in mid-February. Kind of annoying when I'm paying $40/card for advertised 10-day grading when they haven't even been received after that period of time. Lesson learned - never use middlemen if you want things done correctly.
  12. Considering that you are known to make and sell NFC cards, anything that you touch is immediately called into question. If I was CGC I wouldn't touch this with a 10-foot poll given your association with it.
