    I was outbid on this book a couple of years ago, and it affected me so much that I sold copies #2 thru #5 as a result. A great book, and I book I would love to have since it is almost impossible in high grade.

    Welcome Josh....what a way to enter the fray!!! That Star comics is a real scarce book...congrats on finding a decent copy... I guess the same could be said about the "mock-up"...only copy with that distinction.

    To what, specifically? F.F. #2 9.4...1st place F.F. #4 9.4...2nd place... and F.F. #1 9.0...3rd place... now if asked if I could take only one of the three...i would take #2...for sure... A #1 in 9.0...impossible also....what great copies....

    Here is a cover recreation earlier in the year by board member Ryan Heshka (Ryan H.). Ryan creates fantastic recreations that sometimes eclipse the original.

    Sad day for the comic world. Thank you for the interior comic pages. (thumbs u I especially loved some of the covers "Lew" did on Amazing Man (or was it Sam??). I get them confused sometimes. I'm glad he appeared to live a long life and I wonder if he realized how much Centaur fans loved and appreciated his work. He will be missed by Centaur fans.

    The AMF is even much nicer in person, and to me it actually looks better than the original. I told Ryan all I need to go with this piece is Richard's "Church" copy...but I don't think that is happening anytime soon...
