Recreated Marvel Covers FS Hi All! I haven't done this before, so I'm hoping this is A-OK. I'm a graphic designer/illustrator and love to recreate some of my favorite covers on my spare time. That is seriously the nicest looking 5.0 I've ever seen! Speaking of "nice looking", and slightly off topic....that's a gorgeous 1.8 AF 15 in your sig line my friend! And yes, a gorgeous X men 5.0, amazingly bright for a mid grade copy. (thumbs u -J. Thanks! I bought it raw at what seemed like right before the last huge price jump. I had it pegged at a 1.8 before I sent it in to be graded and was really worried that it was gonna come back restored or something (since nowadays you never know what your gonna get when you buy raw books online!) its the one and only book Ive ever sent to be graded myself

OK so I'm only in this hobby because of one thing, and that's because of Joss Whedon and (more importantly) John Cassaday's work on Astonishing X-men. It was the first book I bought back in '04 and I haven't looked back. Needless to say I always wanted to own a great page from that series. Never did I think I'd own a double page spread AND another great wolverine action page! Definitely a grail of grails for me:

Oh man still haven't gotten a chance to pick this issue up yet. It's easily the top of my pile every month!

Thanks guys. it's been awhile since I've been in this club. sold my raw 2.0 back in college (2009 which feels like forever) to pay for text books. Can't believe I sold my x-men #1 to get an education, what a waste!

This has quickly climbed to the top of my reading list every month and can honestly say its probably my new favorite title. When good story telling and top notch art work so seamlessly together this is the type of quality you get and the reason why I love comics so much.
