  1. The griddle is hot and Albert is serving up flips!! Is he going for the most flips from one auction house in one drop?? Please feel free to add any I missed. He's even got a couple of reverse flips in here!
  2. I knew you guys were old but greatest generation??? "Pew Research Center defines this cohort as being born from 1901 to 1927"
  3. Lucky Baru does have your numbers on the point that for as much as you all cluck most of you still use it. At least the Nerdcrawler guy puts up an effort rather than this endless armchair retreading.
  4. Seemed like soft prices to me. I spend more time in the Morlock tunnels and don't breath the rarified air of 5 figure pages, but wasn't ~$20,000 for a Sandman Issue 1 page pretty low? https://www.comicconnect.com/item/1034657 Also published Byrne X-Men, albeit Hidden Years, for less than $700? https://www.comicconnect.com/item/1034824 Paul Ryan FF for less than $400 https://www.comicconnect.com/item/1036886
  5. I asked in the Noob thread a few days ago, but maybe more seasoned collectors don’t look at that anymore. Is there a broadly trusted online vendor for NM+ condition raw blank comics for SS use? Are there particular blanks you’ve gotten negative feedback about from artists? I’ve heard some are not great for sketching.
  6. Not sure if I'm allowed to ask this question, feel free to delete if not, but where do you guys get your blanks? Is there a preferred or trusted online seller that offers blanks that are in potential 9.6 or 9.8 condition reliably?
  7. That guy loves to flip, he loves it even more than he loves Travis Charest.
  8. I'm only a buyer, I've never sold, but I love ComicLink. If you can't be bothered to be aware of when a piece is coming up for auction I don't think you care too much about that art. Also, I might be mistaken, but isn't the threshold for Heritage like $5,000 in total? There has to be an alternative then for those who want to trim or liquidate their collection and can't reach that total, ComicLink fills that niche, and it's not going to be Nerdcrawler or Connectible anytime soon. There are far less eyes there than ComicLink, I'm quite sure.
  9. This one popped back up today now on Albert Moy's new drop. Asking $2,000. Looks like the flipper is cutting bait and trying to get back some of their initial wager consigning with Albert.
  10. Despite the disclaimers in here, and whether those are yours or not, it does seem from your frequent posts in the marketplace like you have items in at least half of the weekly auctions, so it does seem like you're promoting your sales venue tangentially.
  11. I saw someone mention him on Facebook, I forget the context, and someone unfamiliar with him said something along the lines of "the only clay man I respect is Gumby". Cola almost shot out of my nose.
  12. So, I have to ask, what happened? Was it stolen, sent to the wrong collector, did someone mistakenly pick it up?
  13. Yes, this was a normal start to Clink, and people tend to prod up to see where their competitions max tracking bid rests, hence multiple probing bids. Also, wasn't Dunst Mary Jane not Gwen?
  14. here’s someone celebrating their legitimately great charity eBay find in one Facebook group and attempting to flip in another a week later.
  15. Couldn’t find the sale date on comicarttracker but archive.org showed this page still for sale in May ‘23 so less than 6 month flip attempt:
  16. I'd say the consigner expected to "command a sum loftier" given they listed it at $2,000 on eBay in September. Felix wipes the prices to "Sold" so we can't see the original purchase price on ComicArtTracker. Felix got Ryan the most he could, which is his job, I'd imagine it was almost certainly than the pre-BP amount of $320. I love Ennis Punisher, but I'm not a big fan of the Barracuda storyline.
  17. The Bolton is Dr. Shock from Someplace Strange. I’ll take it at 20% off!
  18. That’s actually from a parody editorial cartoon in The Onion from 2015.
