  1. I will be attending the ACE Comic Convention in Arizona in January where they are having Tom Holland and two other cast members from Spider-Man as well as Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, and Hayley Atwell from Captain America.

I will have limited number for Holland and Evans and will take a $100 deposit to hold spots for them. I should be able to do as many as I need for the others. As they add additional guests we will know if we can accommodate them at that time.

We are going to set a tentative cut-off time to order signatures of December 15th. This will allow us to have a final count in advance of the convention. Holland and Evans will most likely sell out well before that. We may be able to take late orders but will not know until closer to that date.

Approximate cost per signature is as follows on comics and/or magazines (for posters, trading cards, action figures, etc...please message us for a quote):

    Tom Holland - $250

    Chris Evans - $275

    Sebastian Stan - TBA

    Anthony Mackie - TBA

    Haley Atwell - TBA

    Laura Harrier - TBA

    Jacob Batalon - TBA

We will take orders in the order they are sent in and deposits are paid.

    ADDITIONAL FEES

Costs under your own CGC account:

$5 cracking applies to graded books

$5 prep fee applies if you do not send along a proper window bag

Interested in 1 Rufallo. Do you have an appropriate book with Hulk movie photo on the cover?

I have a few of the Thor Ragnarok photo cover with the Hulk on the cover but I am selling those as guaranteed CGC 9.8s. Need to pre-screen them to see how many I have available.

When is the submission deadline for mail-ins?  Thank you!

Need books by November 3rd...but if you want spots for Serkis or Ruffalo I need to know much sooner as they will sell out prior to the show and I'll need to put your name on the list.

Looks like Sebastian Stan was added, then Elizabeth Olsen dropped out... which is disappointing.

Today's big news was they added Andy Serkis.  I wonder what his fee is.

    Should have pricing this weekend.

Interested in the cast signing. Do you have a book that is a good candidate for the whole casts to sign? And are those prices including the CGC fee?

Prices are for signatures only...CGC fees and other fees are extra.

We are trying to get copies of an appropriate book to have the entire cast sign and will update the thread once we confirm.

Wowzers!  What happened?  I thought he was a little high at SWC, this is more than double that.

His fee jumped to $300 for this show...it was posted on NYCC's website last week. I have been telling people that it's looking more and more likely that this is his last signing. Who knows but it went up $100 from the beginning of the year.

Hi @Kevlar, Comic Market Street just announced an SLCC Harley Quinn 25th Anniversary Special #1 convention variant (with a virgin cover).  The book can only be picked up at the Con.  Would you be able to pick up the book as well as get a sig and have it submitted for CGC SS?

    Yes I can...please message me.

Well this is yet another disappointment with their product.  I've had a few issues with their processes and slabs but this is pretty severe and condemning.  One of their main advertising points was the tamper protection and tamper-proofing of their slabs.  While I do like their cases and the fact that they seal the label in the inner-well as this video proves, that is pretty weak if the case can easily be popped off.  Not sure if that case is among 1st or 2nd or 3rd generation cases as I know they've gone through a few changes, but if that's current, that's bad.

These are completely tamper proof.  They don't say that they aren't able to be opened....they need to be opened if needed. Tamper proof means that if they are opened, it is readily apparent that the case has been tampered with.

There's nothing bad about this. I was demonstrating how to do it easier as many people find that the cases crack across and are unable to pull the inner well out.

If you are looking for a PERMANENT slab solution, there isn't one. You need to be able to open a slab for a number or reasons: 1) if you want to get a book signed, 2) if you want to have a book pressed and then regarded to see if pressing increases the grade of the book, 3) if you drop a slab and it cracks, or you accidentally scratch the front and want to have a new holder that isn't scratched so a book can be on display....and there are some other reasons.

I've always wondered why books don't have their own numbering, say "#2 /100" when printed and it could be next to the bar code or somewhere near that. This would levitate from anyone thinking one book was swapped for another and every book would be unique.

Some books do have that...usually small print runs thought. Not going to do that on a title that has 80,000 copies.

Before you slab anything, you should put your own signature tear in the centerfold - that way you will be able to tell if the book was switched.

If you submit something yourself you don't have to worry about it.  This has to do with purchasing items already graded.

You can switch the micro chamber paper too. :gossip:

Opening the book out of the inner well sleeve would be harder in my mind , but I suppose those skilled in the dark arts are capable

Here's the problem....you shouldn't have to open up a slab to determine if it was tampered with. You could code the micropaper, but the only way to then know if there was an issue is to crack open the slab regardless and then you'd see the label was swapped out....and opening a slab defeats the purpose of having it in a slab.

I am dumbfounded why any of the grading companies don't use a secondary counter measure like a color changing plastic , or adding cross referencing numbers to the book itself.

Well numbers on a book would devalue the book itself.
