I am new so sorry if if there is a thread already on this topic (I searched and could not find any).
I am interested in seeing some covers that are your least favorite.
For me, this one has to be one of the ugliest I have ever seen. I have never been a big fan of Miller's art, but when I first saw this I was amazed that they actually went ahead and published it. It looks like Wonder Woman's head is attached to her shoulders at the cheek. That has to have taken Miller at most 5 minutes to draw.
Are those hooves? Reminds me of something you’d see on MTV’s Liquid Television BITD.

I understand PayPal is now issuing 1099's for sales over $1000 a year? That really sucks. I don't even mind paying the taxes but the paperwork will be horrible since everything you sell for less than you paid is non taxable. Then you'll have to keep all your mailing receipts to prove shipping costs, etc
It’s $600 and PayPal executes based on what the government voted into the tax code as part of the most recent stimulus package.

Let's not forget that the Mile High II collection, even if it was a pedigree, has absolutely nothing to do with Edgar Church or his collection. Zero. Zilch. Nada. CGC's mistake is two fold.
...or the Denver pedigree. Actually, or the Aurora...also a suburb of Denver. So many collections from that area (dry, mild climate).

RULES:
- PayPal accepted
- US shipping only + included (UPS / FedEX)
- No returns
- Take it in thread trumps PMs
- No HOS members

As if shipping items wasn’t enough of a PIA already

What a bizarre who’s who of artists during that hearing.
Then there was/is Donna Rice Hughes, Gary Hart’s fling, and her warpath on the CDA and Internet Safety.

I remember seeing an X-men #1 for sale, mid-80’s for $100 at my LCS. Wanted it so bad. Might as well been a million to me though. It’s all relative.

Almost to the year, everyone was worried the comic market would tank and we’d have a “buyer’s market.” Good to know it’s “ablaze” right now

Laugh emoji is back. Anything is possible!
Also...Went to 2nd and Charles over the weekend and yeah, couldn’t even get close to the Dr. Seuss books. Reason? It. Was. Packed! All the SPLC did was create attention where it had limited to none prior. It was awesome to see and reminded me of Tipper Gore’s inept attempt to censure music

Is the author of this book still alive? He seems like he would be SUPER fun to hang out with.
...I'm gonna send him a party invite.
Sorta. His name is Dr. eBay
Great book btw

In general this entire thread focuses on the symptom (eBay reacts for reasons) and not the source (the SPLC affiliate who did the study “Learning for Justice”). It’s unfortunate we can’t discuss the source, and rationale, but in doing so, the thread would be locked in mere seconds. This is exactly how the rules play out these days,

In this day and age, three Twitter posts equal a mob.
You conveniently left out Learning for Justice of the SPLC (the source) which fed the media which spun-up school boards.

What mob?
In this case the SPLC, Twitter and a few school boards here in the US.
edit: clarification: it was Learning for Justice, an affiliate of the SPLC.
Best Venue For Selling Expensive Books?

Right now, depending on where you live, selling them locally might even be an option given demand. And when I say “locally” give yourself a good range of 300 miles or so and think about meeting someone halfway if needed. I’ve done sales/buys this way where even on the spot, we transfer/receive funds electronically, and it’s worked out great 👍
