  1. Is there any confirmation anywhere if the discount applies to Signature Series submissions? The graphics online all leave it out, but the info on the tiers does not include SS in the excluded items, so I'm assuming (hoping?) the discount applies.
  2. WonderCon is starting to put out special guests, anyone got any insider knowledge for Artist's Alley?
  3. Amazing to be able to say this, but it all worked out. The books were located, the recipient found them in his stash and sent them home, and I've got them all in hand as of Sunday.
  4. Captured Collectibles confirmed via Facebook that they will have witnesses on site to assist.
  5. Absolutely will be doing that if they don't make it right. At this point, 2 guys from Hive have sworn they are going to make it right, and when they do, I will sing their praises. If they don't, CGC is the second group I will be contacting, after Comic-Con International itself.
  6. Posting this all over Facebook in hopes that I can maybe find my book. At SDCC this year, I attended (and paid more than CGC fees for) the Joelle Jones signing at Hive Comics. Dropped off 4 books, including this Ladykiller 1 from Emerald City, a gorgeous book, great inscription, the works. Just got off the phone with one of the guys from Hive, and they messed up my paperwork apparently and just mailed the books to someone else. So... on the incredibly slim chance that any of you were that person, this is a photo of my Ladykiller, and the other 3 books are Future State Wonder Woman 1, Mockingbird 8, and a Wonder Wonder 800 Pride Variant with signatures from Tom King and Todd Nauck as well. Fingers crossed...
  7. Jumping in to bump this. Twin Cities seems like it's mostly mail-in? Would love to get some of my Captain Marvel books opened and resubmitted after a KSD signature.
  8. CGC has already announced that they will be in attendance. They were there in force last year as well and it was super easy to get witnesses, no wait times at all.
  9. Fan Expo SF had excellent facilitators from Comic Sketch Art and while I don't see FXP listed on their schedule, they also don't have anything past the end of October, including FXSF which they were at, so I'd maybe contact them and ask. I imagine they will be because it's a fairly common set up, they're in the middle of all the artists they work with (which was just about every creator there).
  10. At WonderCon, I dropped of 7 witnessed books (Josh Trujillo, Babs Tarr and Tula Lotay). They came back this week, and 6 of the 7 were 9.8 Top Pops. The 7th was a much more common Spider-Man variant that I knew wasn't going to be 9.8 or as rare.
  11. Emailed customer support for Fan Expo SF and they replied that JSA and CBCS will be in attendance, but did not think CGC would be. Has anyone heard anything different? I don't see any of the listed vendors for the event on the CGC facilitator list either.
  12. Added to more to my weird Top Pops, this time signed and captioned by the great Ray Anthony Height at Comic-Con Revolution Ontario in December.
  13. 4th Top Pop for me, and randomly my 2nd from Kelly Thompson‘s amazing run on Widow.
  14. My 3rd just came in. Absolutely loved this cover when it came out, and knew I had to get Brooks to sign if if I could, and then his sign & slab dropped!
  15. I had no idea when I sent it in that this would end up as the only 9.8 SS version of this, but I loved the book, and love Tini Howard's writing, so I jumped at the chance to get this signed last year. It's even better with the caption she added (for free) and the Knull label. The hard part is I'm really tempted to send it in for a Peach Momoko signing, but I don't think I'll risk the grade.
  16. I'm going to be attending Comic Con Revolution in Ontario, CA, Dec. 18 & 19, and there's going to be some big names there, Chris Claremont (who I'm bringing a stack of books for) Tim Zahn, John Cassaday, etc. CBCS is going to be there exhibiting, but CGC isn't planning to be, but I'm hoping there's going to be someone there who can witness for some CGC slabs, anyone aware of any witnesses/facilitators going? I know Rocket Comics, who will be there, has done witnessed events at their location, and they said they're still trying to figure out if they'll have witnesses available.
