  1. Kudos to Dale Roberts for a great bunch of Silver Age comics. Thanks!
  2. These are the highest graded of their respective issue numbers and they're not to ever be surpassed as George Tuska is no longer with us. The Iron Man #5 is the first Iron Man George Tuska drew in the series and the highest graded (the nest highest is an 8.0) The #11 is the only SS of this issue number, and 8.0 (a 8.5 before it was cracked open and signed) hence also the highest. May you R.I.P. Mr Tuska.
  3. A very nice copy of a book that is hard to find in decent shape! Congrads Bill, that's a keeper! Bob
  4. Thanks guys. Yes it was a nice present. I should have 3 more beauties to post in a few months
  5. And another one bites the dust! Wonder Woman #13 "D" copy. I purchased it raw (a previous owner had cracked it out) and I had it slabbed. It got a .5 bump in grade from when it was slabbed for Heritage
  6. And a splendid grey-tone cover to boot! Congratulations (thumbs u
  7. Happy to have finally found one of these in decent shape

  11. This is a hard act to to follow, but my humble submission: WW #12 "D" copy, thanks in part to Steve of World Wide Comics
  12. I wonder why CGC doesn't list pedigree books in the census like where are the comics from the gaps in the series of Wonder Woman "D" copies Heritage sold back in 2006.
  13. True, but was the pedigree even recognized back in 2002 when the book was slabbed? Heritage broke the collection in 2006, isn't it possible this book was slabbed before CGC recognized the pedigree? I heard that some "D" copies were released to the market before the entire collection was discovered and assigned a pedigree. That said, I needed an upgrade anyway, but if it turned out to be a lost Crippen how cool would that be.
  14. This upgrade just arrived. Slabbed in 2002, It has a prominent "D" in the upper left corner. I'm hoping it's a "D" copy, but I have only one other book with a D that looks like this one, so I'm not sure Maybe CGC can help me to determine this Anyway, the book . . .
  15. Gee - can I get my own pedigree too! The Bob-a-loo Collection
  16. Just got this back, a great example of Susan Ciccone's mastery, performed on an ailing copy of "All Star #2" with scotch tape that literally fused with the paper on the front and back cover. Before After Just a wonderful job!
