  3. It has Classic Illustrated #6 (Tale of Two Cities) for interiors. I beleive this is a copy of the Get Well comic that Overstret lists under Classic Comics/Illustrated section of the promotional section.
  4. This is a page from the anti comics booklet I previously posted. Has anybody seen the ad written about in the third paragraph? Could these "novelties" have been that bad?
  5. This was printed in 1943. There is a stamp on the back that says it is only to be sold at St. Aloysius in Detroit.

  11. NOT Underground related. You paid too much! It can't be worth more than $5, maybe $10 at most. Send it to me and I will destroy it properly to end your otherwise eternal shame. Jealousy makes me type weird things. I finally received it today. My birthday present to myself.
  12. I read that 300 copies were made. Half were sold and the rest were burned by Robert. I don't know how many copies of #2 have survived, but it has been estimated that only 20 copies of Foo #1 exist.
  13. I just won this in the August Heritage auction. I don't know if this would qualify as an underground comix. Robert Crumb and his brother Charles made this when they were kids. Foo #2
