  1. Damn!!! Have been at the hospital +Covid!!!! Stupid COVID!!!!!! This stupid pandemic needs to end.... .... I was so looking forward to more rounds too! Damn.... Next time I guess.....
  2. On dat note.... Me submite means also!!!! I may be a noob.... by my grades are all on point.... a perfect score of 100 is right here baby!!!! It's like my golf game.... Every time I go out, I score a perfect 180! (We stop counting after 10)
  3. LMAO!!!! Time to for me thirdgreenham, to go make a new addition to the fam!!!!
  4. Yeah that's pretty crazy... I just want mine slabbed and protected because of sentimental reasons.... that's kind of nuts... paying to get something graded and it doesn't get slabbed? that's kind of a waste of time and money if you ask me.
  5. true... it's the nervous fun... kind of like the feeling you get right before a big game... or right before you ask a cute girl out on a date..... or the nervous feeling you get when you have to use the bathroom because your stomach feels weird before a big test and your entire life depends on what happens.... oh wait... not that serious???? oh yeah... forget the last part just the first two!
  6. What an interesting question... two of my most prized possessions are cards I personally pulled back in the day. A BPT-002 Summoned Skull and an Fossil 1st Ed Articuno. The Summoned Skull went through the wash... and the Articuno spent 7 years in my parents unheated garage in MN in a screw in flat card holder. The Articuno has major humidity damage and the front has shrunk just enough do to the holofoil middle layer showing just a smidge of the "ink layer" in between authentic pokemon cards... the Summoned skull..... well, we all know what a washed card looks like yeah?
  7. Love the amount of knowledge on this chat board... so happy to be a part of this community!
  8. my collection is still fairly small. I only have 5 long boxes. I'm just recently getting back into collecting. I collected when I was a kid in the early 80's and really ramped it up in the 90's when Image came about. I loved the original Image titles..... and then life happened and Shinders got shut down.... my "only" (that I knew about) outlet to comic books closed on me. The interweb wasn't really a thing yet and the yellow pages was a hassle to look through so I kind of just stopped. Anyways, I'm back! I have a nice order in at CGC (Been waiting for it for 9 months) but I'm excited to get back my first order I personally slabbed... Only have 10 slabs right now and I am looking to slab quite a few more.
  9. My teenage years saw the birth of a revolutionary giant.... Image Comics. The WildC.A.T.S. were jumping in and out of VOIDs, Spawn was burning up his Necroplasm on his way back to hell, Youngblood was Image's Avengers, Savage Dragon was a slimy green cop, Shadowhawk was offering free chiropractic services, the Pitt and the Maxx scared the out of me, Brigade and Bloodstrike had undead members. Stormwatch was taking care of business in space, and Gen13 was the answer to Marvel's mutants. Considering both WildC.A.T.S. and Spawn both sold over a million copies, I guess Image Comics was a big deal.
