  1. I just got this in the last comiclink auction, first new Golden Age issue in a while and it's pretty good looking for the grade:
  2. I had this years ago but it disappeared at some point. The price was too good not to get in the last C-Link auction and I love the cover:
  3. Got this in the last C-Link auction. I always liked this cover:
  4. This story is one of the first ones I ever read, though I read the reprint that came in Marvel Tales some years later. Nostalgia made me buy it in the last Comiclink auction:
  5. You need to be careful. Many people are leery of signed copies and there's no guarantee it will sell at the price you want. As it is, ASM #129 isn't the best long-term Bronze investment as prices are dropping. First and foremost it is IH #181 and then GS-X #1. Prices hold on these two gems, so perhaps sell your copy and upgrade to one of these? Do not SS it. A lot of people like me will not buy SS books, shrinking the buying pool. There is no shortage of SS books out there, so your book would not be any more special than it is. The Punisher has long-lasting appeal, especially if the upcoming series can draw even more interest in the character. Keep it. IF it's a 9.8 W... I don't know. I thought of getting my 9.8 copy signed but in the end decided 1 it wasn't worth the risk. 2 Even though I have a lot of SS books, I kind of like having my bigger books in the pure form. Also I've noticed on this book while sometimes on on ASM129 sigs will go for more. Other times they go for less in the same grade if you follow the sales for a while Clearly lots of differing opinions on the subject so I'd say go with what you think you'd like to see everyday. I understand people who don't want the art interrupted by a signature but I also like Sig Series issues, unless the signature obscures a key part of the cover. I always wanted a copy & finally got my ASM 129 a couple years ago largely because it was a double signature with both Stan Lee & Gerry Conway. Since this was one of the many key issues from Romita then I think it be cool with his signature. Good luck with your decision. Here's my copy:
  6. Thats just frickin' sweet! Yeah, very nice! Good luck with the design and execution of your room.
  7. Just finished "You Can't Make This Up" by Al Michaels. Good overview of sports broadcasting & many different events over his career.
  8. Yes, they are oversized and from 1975 & 1976. I do not have the one on the right! But Christmas is coming! what about these? I have the 1975 issue, love the Luke Cage & Nick Fury stories.
  9. Careful what you say about Gene Colan...! I like a lot of his work, I just think this was an unfortunate cover.
  10. Too bad Marvel Presents 3 wasn't their first appearance. Much better!
  11. I always liked the Guardians of the Galaxy but can't even begin to buy Marvel Superheroes 18 because I'd hate to have to look at it:
  12. Yeah, most of the '70s Kirby covers were like that for me too.
  13. Impressive 4 sig cover! Extra points for it being all the artists and writer.
  14. I don't know, but I'm okay with that.
  15. Thanks for removing the temptation. I've looked at it many times but never pulled the trigger... And thank you for creating the temptation, Steve. Feel like if I don't buy Pedigree Archie/MLJs now you will have them all. Nice one!
  16. 2 motorcycles plus a monkey & a sidecar! That's very cool!
  17. Interesting. Hmmm... It doesn't matter how often I hear this, I still get queasy over Rom.
  18. I got this from the last CLink auction, my first cover: Here's the comic. I like that the OA shows what's hidden under the frame of the produced comic.
