So yesterday I pulled one of those secret rare Pikachu Vmax cards, but the centering is off by quite a large margin. I wondered if submitting this as an error card would be allowed, with an off center indicator on the label similar to how PSA does it. I'm not sure that this is what the error indicator is meant for, but I thought I would ask before submitting either way to see if this was an option. Thank you, -Will

Card came in the booster pack cut horizontally. Don't know what happened at the factory but it does have a double crimp. When the booster pack was opened, a part of the card was folded into the other booster pack. That's why the nasty crease is there. will cgc grade this? I'm really hoping the graders can tell if a card was cut horizontally by the factory or by person. I swear I didn't cut this thing. I'm a fan of error cards and would love to have this thing graded one day.

Hi there, I keep getting this error, along with other errors while trying to submit, it keeps happening when im trying to add to my cart. Other errors occur even when loading into the submission forms itself. How would i even get to submit if this is happening.

I had checked out and it wiped my cart and gave me no form or packing label? now every time I try to add a book it says cart is open in another session?? what's happening here

Hello, It seems that the alignment of the name has been shifted upwards. As seen in the picture, the name in white has been shifted upwards whilst the name in black is in the correct position. Would this be recognized as an error of any sort? Regards

Hello CGC community! I was hoping someone could help me out and tell me what happened to this book.. I have a Secret Wars #1 with a funky cover. It is otherwise in NM condition. Just curious if anyone can tell why this happened and if it will take a hug hit during the grading process (ie get a green label or something). It doesn't feel any different running my finger across it. Makes me think it is a printing error. Thank you!

So I am new to all of this. I recently started collecting/reading comics. I recently purchased a copy of Batman 100 with a blank cover (because I thought I might get someone to draw something original on it). When I first opened it, I realized the pages were upside down and backwards. To read the comic you would have to start from the back and turned upside down. The attached picture is the inside front cover and the first page, as you would normally open a book. I am wondering if this has any additional value versus just any other copy printed the correct way. I have looked for other information but I haven’t seen anything to help me. I came across the forums and thought maybe the more experienced people (all of you here) could help. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Hello all, I've been a collector of romance comics for a little while and I came across a classic soda shop cover that I really loved. Upon researching the book, I discovered that the cover of the book was wildly miscolored due to what I could only assume was a printing error. So, I went out and found myself a regular version of the book to compare. (Attached to this post are photos of both books) The regular cover is the blue hair, the misprint cover is the magenta hair. As you can see, everything is just a shade or three lighter than what it's supposed to be. Is this rare? does this increase the value of a book? If it helps, there isn't even one of these on the census. I'm a little bummed because the misprint book is in amazing shape, save one page that is detached. Thanks for your time everybody!

This is my first post and here's the deal: My copy is missing pages 7-12 and 29-34. Also pages1-6 and 35-40 are duplicated! Clearly an error in the manufacturing/saddle stitching process. It's a 10" x 10" so it cannot be graded. Anyone heard of this or have a copy with my missing pages? Thanks,

Anyone know the total amout of the Uncanny X-men #21 that were printed, how many went out correct, how many went out with the error?

Hi, I recently got my X-Men 101 pressed and graded by CCS/CGC. Unfortunately, the Grader Notes indicated: "light crease left top of back cover" and "spine stress lines". However, when I looked closely at the back cover, I noticed a bunch of creases near the spine, which looks like a pressing error. Unfortunately, I didn't take a "before" picture of the back cover, just the front, but I don't remember seeing these creases. Even if they were there before, shouldn't pressing have eliminated them? Should I ask CCS to re-press this book to address this problem? Also, I could not see the "light crease" on the left top back cover, can anyone else see it?

So i just made an account on this to ask a question about a comic. I found a Little Archie comic in the attic, and i looked inside to find upside down word searches! No relation to little archie at all. The cover said nothing about a word search. Is this a misprint? If you see this i would love answers!😁

Howdy folks, I have a copy of The Darkness issue 11 with the Holoplaid Variant. Long story short I bought it a few years ago and never unbagged it for inspection. Low and behold I think I have an error comic on my hands. Tbh I am not 100% sure if this is a true error. Finding a copy of the Holoplaid variant is already a massive challenge but the odds of finding an error seems too good to be true. Any insight would be welcomed!

Hi, Im a newbie with probably 2 newbie ?'s. This is my first post,. I thought I'd try the forum for help! This is a two part ? 1. I have two copies of astonishing x-men #3 mattina "virgin" edition, One is origonal purple and the other is a printing error this suposeably happend to 42 copies where the cover is blue. I was just wondering if I contact cgc with the issue will they not only recognize the error but re-lable/reslab my copy for with a label recognizing the error if I note it on the invoice? 2. I noticed some cgc graded books don't indicate that they're newstand editions and some do. How does cgc recognize this and if I indicate it as such on the invoice will they label it on the slab as a newstand edition or however they please? Any info would be deeply appreciated Thanks again. #comicbookkarma

I recently acquired this copy of Batman 155 first silver age appearance of the penguin. the pictures online made it look like there were smudges/dirt specifically in the area between the penguin and Robin. once I receive the book and held it in my hands I saw that those smudges were actually a form of ink shadowing, you can see it’s like Robins glove and hair I’m not sure what the technical term for this is called has anyone seen something like this before.

Just picked up a New Mutants #1 which is missing the top staple. This is not a case where the staple came out; there is no tear, staple holes, or indentation marks. It looks like the staple was never inserted in the first place. Is this a common error? Anyone else come across this? And any idea what CGC makes of such types of errors? I'm new to CGC and grading, and this is my first post, so thanks for any help and apologies if this is a well known stupid thing in this community. Pics can be provided. -Matt

Does anyone know why CGC doesn’t list the census for Ultimate Spiderman #3 error variants. I have attached pictures. These comics sold on eBay for a good amount back in 2004. Also, does anyone know how much these comics would sell for these days? I’m looking at the error variant for Venom Lethal Protector #1 (black cover) and if these spiderman error comics only have one or three available, it could be worth a lot of money. Please let me know your thoughts.
