I'm looking to purchase a raw, unrestored copy of Showcase 22. Preferably, the grade would be between a 3.0 - 5.0. Anything lower than a 3.0 I am generally uninterested in, although I am open to considering a nice looking 2.0-2.5. Anything higher than a 5.0 merits an amount above my price range. Payment is negotiable depending on the grade, with my upper limit coming in around a current 5.0 FMV if not a little less. Would prefer to pay by check, although I am open to other methods of payment in accordance to CGC forum guidelines on the matter. I am new to the forums, but I believe I have sufficient information posted here. If there are any questions, feel free to ask. Best to you all. Things to take note of: Raw grading is subjective. We will both determine based on scans/photos the agreed upon grade prior to any talk of purchase. I am completely disinterested in restored copies of any grade. Date stamps or other ink marks are less desirable but acceptable, provided they are not too conspicuous. I would love to have people point me in the right direction if a raw copy become available in another forum or medium. I will pay for shipping. At any point after the creation of this forum I may come across a copy by other means. If I do, I will immediately have the forum closed and post an announcement. -
THE RULES: All CGC books mailed USPS priority mail flat rate; shipping on raw books at cost via USPS I will ship to Canada, but be aware that between 1-3 raw books will cost $28, and a larger number of raw books or CGC books will cost $50 per priority mail box used. trumps any PM request. Paypal preferred, but check or money order is also accepted. Checks must clear the bank before books are shipped. Payments via PayPal must be received within 72 hours after invoicing, unless otherwise agreed to by me. Returns on CGC graded books not accepted. Returns on raws accepted within 14 days of the sale date. Items must be return shipped in the same condition prior to refund. No HOS or Probies -

GOLDEN AGE GREEN LANTERN ARCHIVES Vol. 1 NM. Signed by MART NODELL creator of Green Lantern & SHELDON "SHELLY" MOLDOFF Green Lantern main cover artist. MART NODELL signed the 1st leaf to me, and SHELLY MOLDOFF signed page 7 reproducing the cover he drew of the very first Green Lantern comic A true one of a kind ultra-rare comic collectable. Signatures of both of the main artists responsible for the original Green Lantern in one item. Scan shows Martin Nodell and me with the actual book that he signed for me that day at the Tampa Comic Con in 2006 shortly before he passed away. At a later Comic Con I brought the book to Shelly Moldoff for his signature. Book was put in a Brodart dust jacket cover and placed on my bookshelf Starting bid $249. Ends Sunday night 7/6. Hi everyone, Continuing a theme I started about a year ago, I'm offering a handful of CGC (all of which I submitted for grading) and one raw book up for sale, and I'm selling them because I've decided to slightly reduce my collecting focus. All but three of these books were purchased between 2000 and 2003 when I first got into collecting Silver Age comics, and as far as I can tell none of them have been pressed. Those of you who've sold raw books to me in the past know I ask a bunch of questions when I'm interested in a book, and I can say that none of these books have: Loose or detached staples Rusty staples A loose or detached centerfold Spine splitting Soiling, water damage, stains or fingerprints unless noted Tears unless noted Chipping or dents unless noted Major creases Any printing defects (printers creases, smudges, etc.) Any interior defects (tears, missing page corner chips, etc.) I will charge exact shipping to ship these books insured via USPS Priority Mail, and the shipping cost will depend on the number of books you buy and your location (I'm willing to ship anywhere in the world, but I know USPS Priority Mail shipping costs are high outside of the U.S. ). I accept PayPal, checks or money orders. The first gets the book, but I will also listen to offers via PM.
