Low Grade Read Description. This was once a incomplete copy. The cover, 1st & 2nd wrap and centerfold were missing. Now it is complete with extremely high end reproductions of the cover, first 2.wraps and centerfoldThe wraps are even done on newsprint just like the original was. It is all put back together with original staples. So the cover, first 2 wraps and CF are high end reproductions and the rest including staples are original. Feels nice in your hands. Totally readable and would look amazing in a slab. This book would grade a "NG" with CGC and a .1 with the "Other" company. GPA on the last incomplete coverless copy was $1300 so asking $1300 OBO on this copy. -

Hello - looking for help grading this one. I think it's in the 9's but it has a couple of things that may or may not make it worth my while to submit to CGC. My concern is on the spine there are a couple of dents that don't seem to break color, but I am not sure if a press would resolve. Also, there is a bit of foxing (I think that's what you call it) on the top left corner. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Hi, I have a Batman 232 whose grade was considered on the average 3.5 on a post that I opened here: One comment believes in 3.0, the other in 3.5 and one in 4.0 (with a slim chance of 4.5). So I will go with 3.5 on the average List of problems: "First there is writing on the lower right corner of the cover, as can be seen in details on images 3. There is a hole made by an insect close to one of Batman's ear. It's not that big on the cover, but on the front cover is quite noticeable (image 2). The back cover has two big folding marks, something printed on it (don't remember how it's called in English), some stains and some small pieces missing, especially on it's bottom and on the superior left corner There is creases around the lower staple and another one close to the bottom of the spine (image 4). There is smaller creases around the middle of the spine (image 5). On the superior part of the spine, there is small creases close to the staple and a small piece of the cover missing, slight above Batman's hand. Besides that, the spine is rolled and the staples are somewhat rusty. Plus the spine is "dirty" I want $185 plus $15 for shipping (with insurance). So $200 on total. I can do cheaper shipping (can be as low as $3) but I do not recommend it, since it will not have insurance. I can do Ebay, as long as one is willing to pay the extra 10% and ship with insurance. This has got to be one of the major Marvel keys to have, Silver or Bronze - the introduction of the new X-Men. The Deadpool movie introduced a Colossus worthy of the movies, and I think that Disney will soon be exploring the new X-Men on the big screen after final negotiations are over with Fox. I feel that once Disney/Iger/Feige hints that an X-Men movie is in the works, we'll see this issue go red-hot like Hulk #181 has (last summer, when that issue was selling for $1,500, I thought I'd wait for it to cool down; now it's at $2,000). I happened to buy a GS X-Men #1 about a year ago for $550, and a copy of the same grade on eBay today will cost me $900. IMHO, I don't think a year from now that it'll be available for under $1200 in anything above a 4.0. Does anyone think my outlook isn't accurate?
