How many of the members here use CGC for their personal collection? i saw post on Facebook two days ago that said "use CGC for flipping" I thought that cant be right, most of my slabs are CGC and aren't going anywhere. Thoughts?

Considering all grades 9.0 - 9.6 and depending on price.

Newbie to the grading game so would appreciate the reasoning about the grading as much as the grade itself. The issue has some minor blunting on one corner, spine feathering, 2 spine stress marks (don't know if they class as ticks), and a crease on one corner. Aside from the grading, could anyone advise me on spine feathering similar like the one shown on this book. It seems to be very common on modern books, would this come into play for 9.8 considerations or be seen purely as manufacturing defects? For the crease, spine stress is this something pressing would fix, or could it potentially worsen the crease and make it colour breaking.

Hey guys. My first post here and fairly new to comics (use to collect comics growing up, but I had no idea what I was doing ). I know this is might be somewhat of a vague or hard to answer question but when is the best time to sell modern age comics? I have a small collection that I would like to sell such as Absolute Carnage (signed by Ryan Stegman 1-4 and CGC graded), Wonder Woman 750 (Artgerm Virgin), Batman 89, Batman 92 (Artgerm Lau Card Stock Cover), Batman 92 (Jorge Jimenez Punchline Variant Cover), Hell Arisen # 3 etc. Should I sell these now that there is decent demand or should I wait for something to hype up these characters/comics like a related show or movie? I was thinking of at least holding onto Absolute Carnage until Venom 2 comes out next year. Any advice, suggestions or links would be extremely appreciated!!

Hi, I'm looking for a very scarce comic, A Stranger's Tale #3 (Vineyard Press, 1997). This is an Adam Hughes cover. I am looking for any grade, medium to high, with preference for 9.0 or higher. I am willing to pay $100 for a high grade (9.4+) raw copy, even more for a graded CGC 9.4 or better. My activity on this forum has been limited, but I have purchased from a forum member recently and I am highly rated as a buyer on Ebay (I go by the handle of ct-usa). I may be willing to trade also.
