None of us have the resources to collect everything we want; all of us are forced to make choices. It’s a big world out there, and every genre we collect is at the cost of another. is there a book in your collection that, to you, is so representative of a genre that you can look yourself in the mirror and say “I’m done”? Is there a book in your collection that is so representative of a genre that you feel free to move on? I was big into WWII war covers, but realized very quickly I couldn’t get em all. So I’ve settled on my favorite cover and released the rest. Then, @Ricksneatstuff got me into GGA, and there I went, chasing a different flock of geese. @Gotham Kid got me into Pre-Robin Tecs, same result. Yesterday there appeared a thread about a piece of John Buscema art that had just sold on the Bay, and @delekkerste said “it’s the closest thing to a one-and-done piece you'll find that encapsulates an era”. It’s what gave me the idea for this topic. Anyway, below is the Buscema piece, followed by a couple of books that, for me, scratch the itch for a couple different genres, and releases me to turn my attention elsewhere. is there such a book in your collection? Human Torch 8 This is the classic Subby vs. The Torch cover by Schaumburg. Personally I think this cover is better than Marvel Mystery 9. For the grade this a really nice book. It's cracked from the case but I have the label. 1.8 1000.00 I'll post a picture of the book out of the case tomorrow.

Welcome to my sale. Some of these books are from the “Evelyn Collection” they are among the last of the raw books I own from that collection. If you are interested in the history of the “Evelyn Collection” I wrote some info here when I sold the balance of her books. To the best of my knowledge, these books have not been pressed. There is a mixture today, some expensive books, some are very reasonable. I take Paypal, checks, money orders, or I'd consider tanzanite earrings;) (maybe) I ship to anywhere, at my cost. I use regional boxes when it's more practical, I will ship media mail but not on anything over $100. I pay for private insurance and I try to pack well. I will consider reasonable time payments, but you must discuss them with me before you post a take it. The first or "take it "here or in a pm thread wins, however, if I can't determine the time, the one on the board wins. I take returns for any reason as long as you notify me within 3 days of receipt and you pay for return shipping (unless I made an errror) and ship it in the same manner I shipped the books to you. I must receive the books within 7 days. No list people please.

My last few big sales were all an effort to free up enough money for a down payment on a house. Thanks to my collection and your excellent taste in comics , I was able to buy a lovely home on a river in Michigan. I had hoped that I would not need to sell any more books out of my collection but it looks like I need a little more cash. Who knew that buy a house was so damn expensive??? Hi everybody, I am very new here but I have been buying comics for like 25 year. At this moment I have everything from the silver age up until now of Marvel. I started doing Golden Age since 2015 New York Comic Con. One comic I find hard to get is Young Allies 4. Who is willing to sell their issue of Young Allies 4 to me? Comic must be complete( so no missing pages) any grade would be fine. So please help a comic fan out👍

I have about 50 books to list, maybe a few more. I'm going to do these alphabetically, so Wednesday night I'll end with Wonder Woman. Almost all of these are books I've had for some time, I'm just consolidating a little, paying for some windows, some purchases, but mostly consolidating and these are the books I kept. I should be able to list about 23 tonight. The rest will be Wednesday night at 8pm EST. I'm going to do shipping at my cost to be fair to those who are out of the Country or across the Country or near me. If you need a shipping quote, just ask. Prices are my guesses from GPA/eBay and any other place I think of looking. Most of these are not common, so I might be wrong, if I am, just send me a PM (if I'm too low it might be too late, lol;) so just if I'm too high;) I'm planning one more sale next weekend, Raw GA, and that will be it until I get some CGC books back in a few months.
