Nice to see Man-Bat get out to a healthy lead.

I'm sticking with Marvel Team-Up #1. It has practically zero importance in the BA for me. Let's see the checklist:

 

1. First Appearance of a character? Nope.

2. Seminal character get's very own title for the 1st time? Nada.

3. Ground-breaking format new to comics? Umm, no again.

4. Fantastic new artist or writer's beginning? Zip.

 

5. Do I own both volumes of the MTU Marvel Essentials? Yes, and Marvel must have been channeling some SA DC because many of those issues are brutal.

 

I'll give Z-listers like Deathlok & Man-Bat the edge over MTU barely.

I want to vote for about 10 books this round. Mediocrity abounds.

 

I settled on Superman vs. Spider-man. I recall some hype around this book, and then you never heard about it again. Turned out to be a giant snooze.
