*Bronze age fan*
I got the JIM 83 the other day while traveling and just got home to unleash it from the box. (now that is some out of context thread win right there) Very presentable for the grade. Nice PQ That does present real nice for a 2.5! Nice book! MCJ
The 9.4 copy of JIM #108 just went for only $1314.50 (!) (This was for the white pages copy signed by Kirby on the splash page). The 9.4 copy of #102 for $956... Certainly some bargains to be had in this Heritage auction today. Those are both well bought.

rodan57
Journey into Mystery #76 • January 1962 • November 1961 newsstand First 12 center in the title. This is a 'four story" issue. I like the four shorter stories compared to the earlier "three story" books with the 13 page Kirby lead-in. I sometimes feel that 13 pages is just a bit too long to be chased by a giant dinosaur. As always, the scan is harsher to the book than the human eye. The book is quite glossy first-hand; the colour breaking creases are far less noticeable and not even the hint of a spine split top or bottom of the spine. A recent arrival courtesy of phil50 -- a tight grader. Thanks, Phil.
