How does Signature Series Work?

2 posts in this topic

How does Signature Series tier grading work, do all the books up for certification have to be witnessed by a CGC rep, how is this done at shows? Is it possible for private citizens to get this service done readily on exisiting books they have or is this just something the dealers have access too?

Also, since you are co-sponsoring the upcoming Las Vegas Show are you going to be offering a Signature Series grading event and/or on-site CGC grading as you plan to do at the Wizard World show?

The way the Signature Series works is this:

A CGC Rep will be on-site during to witness the actual signing. The book has to immediately be handed over to the CGC rep witnessing the signing. We announce when the signings will take place. The next signing with a CGC rep on-site will be at the Toronto Comic-Con. Please call CGC toll-free at 877-662-6642 for future signings. We will not be grading on-site at the Las Vegas Comic-Con, but we will take submissions to bring back with us. At this point in time we do not have anything lined up for the Signature Series in Las Vegas.
