No, just thrill bid without having a high probability of winning. You always start your auctions so high that any who puts in a bid will probably win. Nothing wrong with that, just lamenting that I can`t thrill bid.

Actually, like the fact that he starts his bidding at a price he'd be willing to sell the book. Nothing worse than making a fair, GPA-based bid and having the recerve not met. IMHO, anyway.

 

Plus, what purpose do "thrill bids" really serve, anyway? Not that thrilling, unless one has a real limitation of life experience.

 

Disclaimer: I do place "marker bids" on books I would like to follow but don't particularly feel the need to purchase.

That's all I'm really talking about. I just use the term "thrill bid" because it became such a famous term thanks to Comic Keys.
