Overstreet = 1984 (49th edition), eBay = 1983, Wikipedia =1985.   I hope that helps. :shiftyeyes:

To me the Bronze age ended with Amazing Spider-Man 185, Ross Andru's last issue.  Everything just seemed different to me.  I'm probably the only one who will say that, but that's what my eleven year old self thought.

We are 2 months away from the 50th anniversary of the first issue of Spider Man that I waked to the drug store, as a 9 year old, to buy on my own.

Talk about an amazing very first issue.

I've shown my OO  0.5 copy before, but I still like looking at this one too.

It ends in 1983 at the latest. 

Yes, I put those books in the Copper Age as well.

I had previously picked up an ASM #62 at the grocery store years before (and none thereafter), but this was also the first book I bought when I really started to think of myself as a comic book collector.  Wish I'd understood a bit more about how to keep books looking nice.
