Found these three (among others) at a local bookstore today. Nothing too crazy, but I love finding them in the wild and not spending 3 digits on them.

Bedsheet sized Amazing with some really great colours (on a better camera) and the conclusion of Skylark Three:

August 1939 issue of Unknown with not only Fritz Leiber's first story, but it's also the first Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser, maybe my favourite "series". Small crack on the front cover, but it's an otherwise beautiful copy, with white spine and pages:

Finally, I don't actually collect these, so I don't know anything about them, but it looks cool and I'm guessing I won't find them for $15 for much longer:

Finally got in my small commicconnect win after 5 weeks, happy to get then in.  The spicy readers came out to less than a dollar a book, which I can't complain about 😄

Some recent pick ups.

The cover really grabbed me for this book.  I went to look up more about it, and chalk this up to my lack of experience and attention, but I read it was from the remaindered copies of 3 spicy books.  In my head visions of Spicy Mysteries, Detective, Westerns, and listed as very rare by bookery.  Had I checked its publication date, I would have realized it was from a different publisher and not those spice's.  Nevertheless I'm glad I got it, even if it wasn't what I thought it was 

I'm trying to get more detective books, and also books in higher grade, as I normally go for bottom of the barrel in condition.  This caught my eye as it's a Library of Congress copy.

I'm going to glue this onto the back of my Clever Stories

There were, but I can't say much more than that.  This copy doesn't come with a title page, and I'm not sure if they even made title pages for these rebound issues, so I can't say what volume it is.  The guide from bookery does note it ran from 1915-1918, and might have run into the 1920's, but doesn't list any specific issues.  I've done some digging online about the series and can't find anything.  When I get more time I'll open it back up and try to see which 3 issues this is comprised of, but each section starts with page 1 and no index page.

A good reason might be that it cost a massive 50 cents when it came out.
