Can we hold off on 1962 till next week? I can't post much this weekend and really want to contribute. Besides, we don't need to rush this...this is alot of fun!

Sure we can. My original idea was to let the thread take its own pace. That meant, of course, someone could have finished it off themselves in a short time. I wasn't really worried about that happening, though.

 

I was more concerned about the thread faltering once its initial burst of enthusiasm was spent. I thought that building in a two day per year timeline would keep it focussed.

 

At any stage anyone can put in a "flashback to 1960whatever".

 

OK, let's hold off 1962 until Monday.
