oh yeah, i say sell your CGC books now, but not in the case for early JIM's. books are TOUGH to find in HG.

No, prices on JIM books are being driven up by heavy speculation at thre moment. Sure, they are hard to find in HG, but they always have been...why the sudden interest in JIM I wonder?

I started looking for then for a while now,I saw the cover to JIM 87 and just went WOW!!! and started looking at a few more then took a look at the census,then started looking around a found quite a few for sale in a short peroid of time,bought a few then,a few other people started looking for them so of course gman wanted them too cause everyone else wanted them too,and now here we all are. fighting for them.

People who have been collecting for a long time prior to CGC might have been aware of the scarcity of JIM's, but I think CGC has put the exclamation on it at it has become obvious just how scarce they really are. Scarcity will draw the attention of collectors(and possibly investors). Just last year, many JIM's(particularly in the 100-120 range) in 9.0/9.2 could be had for a song.

 

People are naturally drawn to uncommon books, and for Marvel, this is as uncommon as it gets. If ASM was just a little scarcer, the prices would be beyond insane.

 

But that #86 is a real beauty.

i buy/sell many books (including several recent buys from sellers/buyers on the boards)....if the price is right i will buy. Of course I am not dealing in multi $K books all the time either. Every now and again sure...And hey u are getting free advertising when i point them out right? how do i know they are yours on comiclink? If you have a #103......that might be of interest...thanks.
