Turtle
My first SS submission just came in today, so before I go to the airport, I thought I'd post my new slabs. Only 6, but I'm excited nonetheless. All moderns, so don't set your expectations too high. First off, the minor surprise: I had another copy like this that he signed and I didn't have graded. It wasn't until I got it home that I noticed the ding on the LLC. It's more severe on the graded one, but it's still tough to see on the all-white cover. On the label, it says "John Cassaday Cover". Did they do this because he sketched on it? Displays really well, and very cool to me. It was my girlfriend's and my first convention, first comic signing, and first submission. I gave her this book to have Cassaday sign it however she wanted (she got the above sketch, too.) This is what she got. I told here she should try to get the artist's phone number next time... Lone Ranger #1, Virgin Variant Mighty Avengers #1 1:100 variant by Frank Cho, guessed it would get a 9.6, guessed right. Astonishing X-men #1 by Cassaday What If Civil War 1:100 variant (What If fan, here!) Only SS on Census (until the census updates, anyway). Djurdjevic is listed on the cover, but not on the label. Anyone know why? I need a new scanner!
