Silent Master
Just got these yesterday. My homage to the end of World War Two. Since Joe Simon created Captain America during the war I wanted his inscriptions for this. I felt it was appropriate since he's one of the few comic creators who lived during the war that is thankfully still with us today. One is in honor of the European Theater, the other is in honor of the Pacific Theater. V-E Day and V-J Day, as written by the great Joe Simon! The sketches are an awesome bonus and many thanks to NY Comics (Sean) for them! [/img] [/img] Very nice!!!

Jeffreykli
More goodies from CGC: Keepers: Psyched about the Crossfire and Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe. Eventually for sale (probably at Wondercon): Almost the entire variant set in 9.8; just the Team 7 came in as a 9.6.

aszumilo
Just picked these up from the Post Office. Sorry for the scans, I have a crappy one. Overall happy with the grades, but, there a couple I am disappointed with, namely the Siege (looks like some blunt corner damage during shipping or grading possibly, upper left corner and bottom right corner, did not notice it when I sent it in). The Wolverine I believe was advertised as VF/NM when I bought it, so was happy with the bump. I really thought the Dark Reign was 9.8, but getting it back, I can see what I missed. And for the second submission in a row, CGC got the label wrong. The USM #112 should be listed as White Cover Variant, but, it is not indicated on the label and registers in the regular issue slot. Shark
I debated about doing it for quite a while, but I finally decided to submit my AF #15 to Sean McLoughlin at NYComics to have it signed by Stan Lee. I thought it would raise the value of the book more than the total cost of signing and reslabbing plus it would just look a hell of a lot better with the mostly yellow label. So I cracked it out of its original slab, sent it in to Sean and it just came back today. What originally was this: Just came back as this: I always felt that it was too harshly graded the first time around so I was hoping for a slight grade bump after the signing. But I was very happy with it going all the way up to a 6.5! And it changed from an EP (Extensive Professional) to an MP (Moderate Professional) to boot!
